17 year old faces charges after fending off attacker

Sound Familiar?   A 17 year old in Somerville was thrown in the slammer for a week over something he didn't do.  Now his lawyer his suing George Scarpelli, that's right, the Medford City Councilor is a co-defendant when someone allegedly under his watch was accused of a crime that he didn't commit!

Her assailant fled and hasn’t been caught, but the victim is facing legal consequences.
“It is illegal to possess and use pepper spray, so she will likely be charged for that,” local police spokesman Knud Kirsten of Sønderborg, Denmark, told TV Syd about the incident, which occurred at 10 p.m. on Jan. 20.
