According to sources, former mayoral candidate Anthony D'Antonio walked in to the Law Department of Medford City Hall. This is the alleged conversation.
Mark Rumley: "You ratted me out to Joe Vig"
Anthony D'Antonio: "Court is a public place, you were there, how did I rat you out?" (paraphrased)
Reportedly YOUR $121,878.64 per year City Solicitor was MOONLIGHTING in Somerville as a bill collector for credit card companies, while taking money from you - allegedly - (and another mayoral candidate, John Byers, also saw Rumley in Somerville District Court on a Thursday; he said Rumley tried to duck from him, allegedly)
It's time that Mr. Rumley and his deceptive business practices went elsewhere. He is not welcome at City Hall for the money he takes without providing the service that this municipality needs.
