Dellorusso Charged




Patrick Dellorusso, who until June was director of labor relations at the international freight forwarder, was charged in connection with a government investigation into organized crime infiltration at John F. Kennedy International Airport.Mr. Dellorusso, 32, was arraigned Monday on a three-count federal indictment charging that he conspired with a codefendant in the extortion of more than $500,000 from Amerford, an Atlanta air freight forwarder with operations at the airport.

He also was charged with attempting to murder Vladimer Jadick, a government witness in the case, in 1991, the indictment said.

Mr. Dellorusso's codefendant in the extortion charges, Anthony Razza, secretary-treasurer of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 851, was arrested and indicted Sept. 9. The government last week asked U.S. District Court Judge Eugene J. Nickerson to allow the trustee of "sister" Local 295 to take control of Local 851.
