What Police Chief would respond to a RAPE CONVICTION in his community by telling the city council and TV viewers that we live in a safe city?
Should Adam Knight, Rick Caraviello, Paulette Van der Kloot, Roy E. Belson, Stephanie Burke, John Falco, Bob Skerry, Ann Marie Cugno and Frederick N. Dello Russo, Jr. be held responsible if George Scarpelli loses the two lawsuits where he is a defendant?
It's a very logical question. Remember when Bob Maiocco was embarrassed by his little indiscretions alleged at Wells Fargo?
Maiocco has no standing in the community today, his fall from grace hard and fast.
BUT the fellow councilors didn't look into Maiocco's background, they were all blind to his allegedly unethical activities.
So there's no excuse. Once Maiocco was allegedly outed the council and school committee had an obligation to this community they are required - BY OATH - to serve - to look into the backgrounds of each other.
But they didn't - and the police chief tries to lie to the community with an unfounded blanket statement of how safe Medford is.
Well, it isn't. Not when a woman is convicted of rape four days before Leo Sacco's disgusting statement at the city council.
Not when Sacco's own son didn't get a breathalyzer or field sobriety test on or about January 20, 2017 - nine months later.
Then Sacco intimidates a witness, this editor, after the council meeting demanding that I "not" go after his "family" when the news was on Channel 5. A threat from a police chief, and his admission, Sacco's admission, that the police intentionally never helped me with the onslaught of harassment they knew about ..."You get the police service you deserve."
We'll discuss this in a legal forum outside of the clutches of Sacco's lords and masters.
Let's ask the question again:
What Police Chief would respond to a RAPE CONVICTION in his community by telling the city council and TV viewers that we live in a safe city?
Police Chief Leo A. Cover-uP Jr, that's who.
Double Standards in Leo A. Sacco Jr's skewed vision of what the law is and what the law is not
1)Jenna Tarabelsi convicted of RAPE of a 15 year old child on October 13, 2017 and four days later Chief Sacco says on 10/17/17 that you live in a safe city.
2)George Scarpelli is a defendant in two lawsuits with UGLY stuff flowing from the court papers, allegations of 50 hazings, alleged rape, alleged cover-up, allegations of false accusations, and Scarpelli purportedly wanted to run for mayor.
This stuff is in the public domain right now and Chief Sacco tells the citizens it is a safe city...forget the allegation that George Scarpelli himself threatened freshmen with physical violence if they spoke out
On Sunday morning October 15, 2017 state Representative Paul J. Donato played pocket pool with Michael Marks, council vice president, in front of a student running the camera and little children on school property.
Does Chief Sacco want to press charges of "witness intimidation" on the two young children because they may have witnessed an inappropriate sexual act on high school property?
Sick minds, sick people ruining our city government.
Get serious, Leo A. Sacco, Jr.
Did you hear the one about the MBTA cop who was arrested allegedly for drunk driving?
It certainly wasn't Joe Sacco, the allegedly corrupt police chief of Medford's sonny boy!
MBTA bus driver on way to work arrested for OUI, police say...but it wasn't Sacco's son ! Karen Snow was arrested, Joe Sacco was not!

10 PM on a Friday night allegedly January 20, 2017 - news story showed up on January 23, Monday... suspected drunk driver dispatch to State Police No comment from Sacco, his father or the Transit Police Union
5 Investigates: alleged drunk driving incident involving T cop sparks investigations - OFFICER was not ARRESTED OR CHARGED "the son of the Medford Police Chief and the secretary of the transit police officers association."
This happened on or about 1/23/17 - eight days before an innocent man faced trial (and won) with false charges ISSUED by the Medford Police Department and the office of the District Attorney, Lyin' Marian Ryan.

Police Chief Leo A. Sacco, Jr. told the citizens of Medford at the city council 10-17-17 that this is a safe city. Yeah, if you allegedly cover up crimes it is a safe city. Gives great weight to allegations that a varsity coach and daughter of a powerful politician's daughter had illicit sex... a teacher and a student at Medford High School, wouldn't be the first time since on the 13th of October - Mr. Sacco - a woman was convicted of rape of a 15 year old child. But Police Chief Sacco thinks it is a safe city with a rape conviction, allegations of 50 hazings or so under city councilor George Scarpelli's purview, and allegations of a powerful politician's husband getting pulled over repeatedly for alleged drunk driving and getting off like a varsity coach or a Medford police chief's son.
But Medford is a safe place...if those sons of bitches don't run you over drunk out of their minds... allegedly...

In addition to not being arrested or charged, sources said Sacco was not given field sobriety or Breathalyzer tests.
Transit Police were notified, MBTA transit officers picked up his truck and gun, and a relative took Sacco home, sources said. An hour later the scene was cleared.

That was the call dispatched by state police to the Gilmore Bridge in Charlestown around 10 p.m. Friday.
Sources told 5 Investigates the Transit Police officer, Joe Sacco, was allegedly drunk behind the wheel. A Fallon ambulance crew spotted him driving erratically and called 911, the sources said, and Sacco pulled over by the Bunker Hill Community College T stop before state police arrived.
