OK, now figure this out. Gilbane Corporation - which had or has McGlynn and McGlynn as lobbyists, hires Mike McGlynn ex Mayor, then gets booted, allegedly, from MBTA which had Jonathan R. Davis as its head, brother-in-law of Jack and Mike McGlynn All told, the MBTA pulled off four contractors, including a joint venture among J.F. White Contracting Co., Skanska USA and Kiewit Infrastructure Co. that was serving as the general contractor.
"WSK is disappointed by the board’s decision to cancel the contract for convenience and that we will not be able to see this project through to its completion. We continue to be a collaborative partner with the MBTA and the Commonwealth as we focus on finishing the work that is already in progress for the Green Line Extension project," the joint venture said in a statement.
Leaving with them are independent cost estimator Stanton Constructability Services as well as the joint ventures serving as project manager/construction manager—HDR Engineering Inc. and Gilbane Building Co. — and the final designer—AECOM and HNTB Corp.

Medford officials told Gov. Deval Patrick Wednesday they would like to see the MBTA bus garage on Salem Street removed for the benefit of the neighborhood. MARCH 14, 2013
During his visit of Medford's MBTA facilities, Patrick took a look at the facility located next to the plaza where the new Stop & Shop is located.
