Haines Square Horror/Tragedy DA: Newton businesswoman allegedly killed by teen driver on drugs

DA: Newton businesswoman allegedly killed by teen driver on drugs

A Newton businesswoman and Brookline resident was killed in Medford Sunday, allegedly by a teen driving while on drugs and without a valid license, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and our news partner WCVB.
“We will miss her smile, her dry wit and her passion,” the Newton-Needham Regional Chamber said in a press release about Judy Moses, 64, of Pathway Home Realty Group.
Ryan said the 17-year-old driver has been charged with operating under the influence causing serious bodily injury, leaving the scene of an accident causing death, operating to endanger and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in connection with the crash, according to the DA’s press release.
The teen was arrested by Medford Police Sunday night and was due to be arraigned Monday in Cambridge Juvenile Court.
