From GJA:
I
watched the show while I was smoking cigarettes and drinking a couple
of cold beers. And I can say that you are a great storyteller and a
fabulous singer. Your musicians are super, too.... And I can even say
that "Rock is not dead" at all. Thanks Joe Viglione for this vibrant trip!
MORE STORIES, MORE FUN IN THE COMING WEEKS!
Personally, it was an off-night onstage as it was just a "test run" before the big show on Nantasket Beach come Autumn.
Three of the musicians I had never played with before, but it was a blast, it was entertaining, and a young couple in the audience told me that they loved it.
A fellow bumped knuckles and was effusive in his praise; other audience members also expressed happiness with our mini-show on June 27th ...they loved our little preview.
The drummer and I played the club in 1974...so we are doing our reunion tour this summer with a variety of different musicians.
Had so much fun telling stories it will be more stories and less music in the coming weeks See y'all on the 18th of July with a new show, new stories, and some fun surprises.
Maybe we'll issue Mayor Burke a subpoena from the stage!
Heck we sent a phony subpoena to the President of Rock & Roll, Myles Connor, infamous art thief, to come to our record expo but it appears he didn't think it all that funny! Oh, c'mon, Myles, you are on your last legs anyway, have a sense of humor before you finally kick the bucket!
