RE: Alleged Political Rant from Neil Osborne allegedly on company time?
Neil Osborne Esq Twitter: "Who knew Medford is a hot place to eat? We knew. Future looks bright." July 8 3:18 pm
...duh...maybe he should be promoting human rights, not restaurants, ostensibly for the mayor's campaign...
Mayor Burke:
At 3:18 p.m. on Monday Mr. Neil Osborne was sending out a restaurant tweet. It seems like a sly endorsement of your alleged work on company time,
and it has nothing to do with diversity and civil rights.
The conflict of interest law generally restricts public employees from using public resources in connection with campaign or political activity, except under limited circumstances.
IF THAT'S TRUE, why is he promoting restaurants instead of protecting civil rights? at 3:18 pm on a Monday afternoon?
Have you heard the one about a city councilor who may have used his government e mail to promote his campaign?
His last name is not Day, and he's not a Member of the British Empire if recollection is working properly today. Need another hint? The councilor in question is not very chivalrous.

Now we have a tweet from Neil Osborne that seems politically motivated - allegedly on
company time.
1)Is Mr. Osborne on Vacation?
If Mr. Osborne is NOT on vacation and tweeted this out on company time, it seems like a pernicious and sly way of promoting Mayor Burke's campaign for mayor.
What? Is Mr. Osborne going to change his sex and become Medford's version of
What? Is Mr. Osborne going to change his sex and become Medford's version of
Kellyanne Conway? See link below.
2)The 3:18 pm July 8 tweet has nothing to do with the Human Rights Commission. Since I already uncovered a Disability Commission meeting (Commission for Persons with Disabilities) in violation of the Open Meeting Law - when Mr. Osborne was advised by me - in advance - that I wanted to Facebook Live the event - we wonder if the Burke administration wants to follow the rules in the future, or is it going to continue to create its own rules by breaking the rules the public is fed?
I want an investigation into why the Diversity Director or Director of Diversity or Director of Diversity and Inclusion - (isn't that 3 official titles that he's had so far?) - is busy busy busy promoting our restaurants instead of yelling and screaming about bad actors at the city council violating our civil rights time and again.
Oh, that's right, Atty Osborne doesn't give a damn about real human rights, he just wants to collect a paycheck, in my opinion.
Some time ago I lodged complaints against some members of the city council for engaging in buffoonery and harassing senior citizens like myself,
Bob Penta, Andy Castagnetti, Dr. Storella and not-yet-senior Jeannie Martin.
Mr. Osborne did NOT do his job, in my opinion, and the complaints went into Caraviello's favorite place, the circular file. Mark Rumley taught him well.
We may not have the Hatch Act of 1939 (Amended 2012) in Massachusetts but we do have a Conflict of Interest law.
Here's my post on Facebook:
Neil Osborne should do his job at the Human Rights Commission and not promote Stephanie on Twitter. Oh that’s right. It’s an election year. Is he doing this on Medford City Hall time?

Is he on vacation? https://twitter.com/i/redirect? Neil Osborne Esq Twitter: "Who knew Medford is a hot place to eat? We knew. Future looks bright."
What does this have to do with the Human Rights Commission?
It appears to be promoting Stephanie Muccini-Burke's campaign for mayor. Now maybe we don't have a Hatch Act in Medford but think about this for a moment: "the US Office of Special Counsel is recommending that Donald Trump's adviser Kellyanne Conway be removed from federal service for violating the Hatch Act" https://www.cnn.com/2019/06/13/opinions/kellyanne-conway-a-part-of-trumps-problem-filipovic/index.html Neil Osborne should be doing his job protecting citizens from bullies, like certain city councilors. I have paper, documented evidence, that Mr. Osborne does not do his job. Here's the Hatch Act: Amended in 2012 The
Hatch Act of 1939, officially An Act to Prevent Pernicious Political Activities, is a United States federal law whose main provision prohibits employees in the executive branch of the federal government, except the president, vice-president, and certain designated high-level officials,[1] from engaging in some forms of political activity.

Now maybe Mr. Osborne isn't being pernicious - "having a harmful effect, especially in a gradual or subtle way." Maybe he is...sure seems subtle to me. This mayor is controlling the media and has loyal lieutenants putting this message out there, seemingly for Mrs. Burke's campaign.
Breanna Lungo-Koehn take note.
