Hello Ken,
Best
thing Muccini-Burke can do is put Robert M. Penta in charge of the
access TV center and Arts and Culture in Medford. Best thing she can do
to be "Partners in Progress" is to embrace her opponent who actually
won the election.
I
KNOW there was funny business with this election and you know I'm
talking to multiple lawyers about a recall vote. That's a fact. Mrs.
Burke can't win without McGlynn and the slanted election,
McGlynn lurking around Ward 1-2, Firefighter's Club, 340 Salem Street:at
7:58 pm - that's not a mayor who "retired," that's prima facie evidence
(I have 2 photos) of monkeying around with an election. It was
reprehensible.
It's
too bad, I actually liked Stephanie when she was a councilor, but her
absurd attacks on Penta during the campaign with lies and mud-flinging
and then to say with a straight face that she ran a positive campaign is
a slap in the face to intelligent residents of this city.
What
we see in Mrs. Burke is a duplicitous woman hungry for the power grab
with a vulgar husband who verbally attacked me at the Chevalier Theater.
Have Mrs. Burke put a meeting together with me to apologize for that
outrageous attack by an assistant clerk of Middlesex Superior Court. She
doesn't have the decorum to reach out to those she stepped on to steal
the election.
There
are a majority of Medford residents who voted for Bob Penta. Stephanie
is an illegitimate Mayor and without access TV we have no voice.
The woman "got in" by censorship; by refusing to let other candidates and the public have their forum, their public access TV that they pay for. That's exhibit A and almost as powerful as the other evidence that the authorities are aware of.
So all this posturing with the ugly antics of Paul Camuso chairing this Transition Team is just that, posturing.
We
don't believe Medford is going to move forward with an individual who
was sneaky in seizing the levers of power. The people on her team are
delusional in public - Rachel Tanenhaus, Jeanette Spalding, the crazies
have taken over the asylum. So we are to believe there is some sanity
here?
If
Mrs. Burke is truly a partner in progress she will appease the voters
who gave Bob Penta the election and will reach out to him for a
significant position in the Administration.
The
lawyers I am talking to know about recall elections and to ignore the
fact that there will be a recall vote at some point, as was SUCCESSFULLY
accomplished in Fall River, would be ludicrous.
We
citizens demand Muccini-Burke meet with those who don't agree how she
was underhanded in the election and build this "partnership" that she
promised.
If she really wants to be a partner, her first order of business is to reach out to Bob Penta and stop taking pot shots at him.
It
is very unbecoming of her, and the Camuso/Dello Russo on the transition
team thing is really out to lunch. That's not leadership, that is pure
bullying, plain and simple
Regards
Enhancing Arts, Culture and Recreation in Medford
As
part of her Transition Team, Mayor-elect Stephanie Muccini Burke has
appointed a committee to recommend ways in which her administration can
enhance and promote arts, cultural and recreation activities and
opportunities in Medford.
Please help the committee by answering the two questions below.
What
is the most important thing the Burke administration can do in each of
these time frames – one month, three months, and six months – to help
make your organization more successful?
It
All revolves around public access TV. Look at Malden, Arlington,
Stoneham, Somerville, Cambridge, Boston. Forget six months, we pay
this city via our cable bill and McGlynn was criminal in not giving us
our access TV. Forget three months, the station has to start operating
now. Mrs. Burke got into the Mayor's office because of McGlynn's
deceptive business practices and they are being scrutinized for a recall
vote sooner than later. To deprive the city of access TV and push it
back another three months or six months is absurd and is a dereliction
of duty.
What
is the most important thing the Burke administration can do to enhance
and promote arts, culture and recreation activities and opportunities in
Medford in general?
Reach out to Bob Penta who actually got the real votes and make him a "partner in progress."
