OCTOBER ELECTION SURPRISE: Medford Teacher Convicted
There were alleged rumors about alleged inappropriate conduct at Arlington Catholic by Jenna Tarabelsi prior to her hire at Medford High School. Roy Belson was asked point blank in November of 2016 about those rumors and he denied that he knew anything. Now Belson can feign ignorance which means that he doesn't deserve to be in the position that he is in, or the very smart Roy E. Belson allegedly is not being honest with you via his discussion with a journalist. But here's the really creepy thing Belson said in front of new hire Kristina Fraser from Brookline Interactive Group: "Joe thinks I hide sexual predators at the high school." Almost a year later Belson's joke turns out to be prophetic - yet another teacher Medford High pulled off of the scrap heap.
On September 28, 2017 Mark E. Rumley, your city solicitor, admitted to this journalist that when it comes to your grandma baking cookes on TV3 or any candidates wanting to be members to do more than a mere 5 minutes, all have to submit a CORI check even though $67,500,00 of our monies go to young Ben Brown who is supposed to be monitoring the station at all times. A CORI is only required if people have unsupervised contact with children. Ben Brown was hired to supervise the station - and he certainly has not earned a nickel while he's learning on the job about feedback, facilitation of programming, outreach, website design, or how to have a city council meeting air without blackout and glitches.
How sick is it of this city to demand a CORI check on your grandpa who may want to talk sports, but - in the case of Jenna Tarabeli - they allegedly didn't even tell the parents pertinent information about bomb threats or a teacher getting extra friendly with a 15 year old.

FOX 25 REPORTS the school NEVER let a parent know about the then-alleged sex abuse. Now Tarabelsi is found guilty:
Medford police told FOX25 News students had come forward claiming the Tarabelsi had sexual relationships with possibly three male students.
The mother says her son has since come forward with more details about the alleged relationship.
"He told me that he had pictures of her breasts," she said. "The school's never even called me to even let me know what's going on."

A former high school counselor in Medford was convicted Friday of raping a 15-year-old male student she had befriended, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said in a statement.
Jenna Tarabelsi, 33, of Waltham, was found guilty by a Middlesex Superior Court jury of two counts of rape of a child, according to the statement.
