Puff pieces flourish in the obedient Medford Transcript. Five deficient "station managers" kept independent thought off of the electronic soap-box that is access TV.
We have no freedom of the press in the city of Medford, Massachusetts, and this is a deliberate effort by Solicitor Mark E. Rumley, Mayor Stephanie Burke, former mayor Michael J. McGlynn, and equally immoral and unethical characters that are part of the corrupt fabric, police chief Leo A. Sacco, Jr., Council President Richard F. Caraviello, the unbalanced Frederick N. Dello Russo, Jr., and the political jester, state reprobate Paul J. Donato.
These are not very intelligent individuals, nor do they give a dam about you.
What is Freedom of the Press? It's been ten years since Mayor Mike McGlynn used retired judge Marie O. Jackson-Thompson like a dishrag, solicitor Rumley telling me the judge was faxing her report to him and he faxing it back to her.
HA! You think I would ever allow Mark E. Rumley to potentially edit my work?
The solicitor is such a scoundrel; a wolf in sheep's clothing that I first met in early 2003 when I informed him about the shenanigans at the now-under-investigation-by AG Maura Healey "Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.
That's right, I spent 15 years, almost a quarter of my 64 on this planet, displaying pure "truth to power," or obsessive insanity, eloquent as I am, take your pick:

Have you ever seen Dick Caraviello take a risk? The mumbling, stumbling, flagrant example of the low self-image the city of Medford has for itself.
Some fat jackass as city council president, who allegedly had a sex offender working for his limo service. Good one, if true, on prom night. Anyone got photos of the late Mr. O'Brien driving teens around on their special evening? Meathead Caraviello said under oath in a court of law, in criminal court, "no" when asked if he ever moonlighted on the Medford City Council.
Caraviello said "no" under oath, yet when the council took a vote on a video regarding pay-to-park, Caraviello - walking out on the council - personally told me that he had to drive a client for his R.C. Limos.
Now we know he lied in a police report, but under the useless and abnormal chief of police, Leo A. Sacco, Jr. the city council president can lie to the police (and allegedly commit perjury in criminal court,) alleged child pornography is swept under the rug when a floppy disc has images of a sexual nature but the Medford Police Department refuses to do ANY investigation into if the boy on the floppy disc was of age (16) or under age - 15.
That the individual blamed for making the alleged child porn had a convicted child rapist, a former WRKO/WBCN host, appear on TV3 once he was released from prison in an attempt to exonerate himself, is more than a red flag.
Here's what the police department failed to do:
a)Look at the lease of the perpetrator when he allegedly lived on Harvard Street
b)compare the Harvard St. apartment to the image(s) on the floppy disc.
c)go to the pizza joint at the rotary on the Arlington line and find out when the kid worked there
d)get the individual's birth certificate or driver's license (he has to be in his early 20's now) and match the date on the driver's license with the departure of the twice-arrested former board member of a local non-profit from the Harvard Street apartment
DUH, you would have the exact age of the boy on the floppy disc,
police chief, so easy that former Medford High School employee Jenna Tarabelsi's 15 year old rape victim could do it.
Jenna Tarabelsi was convicted of rape on Friday the 13th, October, 2017. At 10:30 am on Sunday, October 15, 2017, state reprobate Paul Donato moved his hand (and you can see my succession of photos) from one area right smack dab into the middle of then council vice president Michael Marks crotch. IN front of two little kids and a high school student running the video cam.
Rumor has it that Donato grabbed Marks' backside the week before at the VFW. Luckily for Michael Marks it wasn't on a Friday night at that Russian steam bath in Chelsea where Donato allegedly runs around naked. Now there's a quick cure for homosexuality, the image of the fat Buddah running around au natural, but I digress...
Donato's antics at the high school were reported to Martha Coakley directly, as many in the bcc: witnessed. Martha, my dear, investigating sexual harassment on Beacon Hill? More like covering up harassment on Beacon Hill.

On the Monday night, October 16, 2017, I was scheduled to speak at the Medford School Committee probably on the public access issue. When I brought up Donato's sex stunt the day before, with Mayor Burke laughing when she saw what her pal Donato was up to, she slammed the gavel repeatedly

Sunday 15th - State Reprobate Paul Donato grabs Mr Marks private parts in front of two little kids and a high school student
Monday 16th of October, Mrs. Burke Suppresses FREE SPEECH during a school committee meeting while I was scheduled ON THE AGENDA to speak
Tuesday 17th Chief Sacco tells the city at the city council how safe it is to live in Medford; four days after a high school employee was convicted of rape, the police chief of Medford lies to the public that he's doing a great job (not) and that the city is safe.
Not when City Clerk Ed Finn can physically assault a minority male over sixty years of age (a felony) and get away with it.
Speaking truth to power. I spoke after the Chief and informed the citizens what Channel 5 had reported on the chief's son not getting a field sobriety test or a breathalyzer:
Transit Police officials tell us that the officer has been placed on paid administrative leave, and his gun has been taken away, but State Police said he was not arrested and no charges were filed.

In addition to not being arrested or charged, sources said Sacco was not given field sobriety or Breathalyzer tests.
Transit Police were notified, MBTA transit officers picked up his truck and gun, and a relative took Sacco home, sources said. An hour later the scene was cleared.

In 2009, the Civil Service Commission found that the Medford Police Chief’s involvement in a hiring process in which the Chief’s niece was a candidate tainted the selection process. The Commission effectively rescinded the appointment of the Police Chief’s niece and ordered a new review process. In Minoie v. Town of Braintree, 27 MCSR 216 (2014) & 27 MCSR 615 (2014), the Commission found that the Police Chiefs involvement in a hiring process in which his son was a candidate tainted the process. The Commission ultimately allowed the appointment but initiated an investigation in which the Town was ordered to modify its hiring practices to prevent similar future occurrences.
We have no access TV in Medford.
They retaliate in the most vicious of fashions if you put the news out there.
Police Chief Sacco said to me on October 17, 2017 "You get the police service you deserve. Don't you ever go after my family. Sue me."

Freedom of the Press? Not in the city of Medford
Chief Sacco, who allowed Stephen Lebert to violate his police officer's oath time and time again; Chief Sacco, who gets all flustered that his son's indiscretion was put out there on the government channel.
Chief Sacco, who didn't properly investigate if cameras co-owned by the city were used to sell child porn on the internet, allegedly.
An autistic man claims that in 2004 the individual accused of the child porn sent him to Stop and Shop - not to ask about opinions on the Red Sox winning the world series; the question changed for the autistic man, being bullied repeatedly by TV3, to ask women if they had a "g" spot. The disabled person was nearly arrested.
The perpetrator allegedly behind that was twice arrested in one year; one of those arrests for some bizarre sleepover in P-Town with a 16 year old cadet that he allegedly gave three beers to.
but the Medford police cannot determine if the image on the floppy disc is of a child engaging in pornography. A 15 year old, Jenna!
but hey, in a city where there are allegations that a member of the mayor's family had sex with a teacher at Medford High School, it's just par for the course

What's happening with Mark Smith's alleged civil trial ???
"It's very troubling," said Mitchell Chester, commissioner of the Massachusetts department of elementary and secondary education. "We have zero tolerance for that kind of behavior and we're very aggressive in going after those individuals," said Chester.
Former Medford High School teacher Mark Smith lost his teaching license last year after allegations surfaced he sexually abused a former female student.
Records show Smith also lied on his renewal application in 1999 claiming he was never convicted of any crimes, even though he pleaded guilty to assault and battery in 1983.
"We'd like to ask you some questions about your teaching license?" asked Curran.

An alleged victim wrote me alleging that Smith was engaged with current students - not a "former" student, but students, plural
Let's see if we can publish the court papers as there are rumors (allegations) that Smith is involved in a civil trial regarding this matter.
