The professional opinion of this writer who has studied Medford politics for the past seventeen years: Stephanie Burke is killing the city of Medford.
At the October 16, 2019 debate Mrs. Burke blurted this unseemly line out:"... and we should be championing our city not trying to tear it down."
Then Burke puts her glasses back on.
Breanna Lungo-Koehn was raising the city up by pointing out the many deficiencies in the Burke administration.
Stephanie Muccini-Burke was confusing the constructive criticism of her failed policies with tearing Medford down.
Muccini-Burke thinks that chopping down a magnificent tree on Paris St., a tree that this writer put many hours in trying to save, makes her the queen of "Tree City U.S.A." It is so Donald Trump that it gives shivers to those of us who actually love the city of Medford, in deeds, not Mrs. Burke's incessant lip service. Much like duplicitous Donald J. Trump.

I'm saddened. As a city councilor, Stephanie Burke was highly likable. She, Bob Penta, Breanna Lungo-Koehn and soon-to-be-leaving-the-Camuso-crowd, Michael Marks, had something to offer the city to counter Michael J. McGlynn. McGlynn IS a low-level gangster. A sublimely slick politician, in a very negative way, his brain works on a high level of malevolence. So far McGlynn has gotten away with being the kindly white-haired old man that says he loves the city, but naming a school after his father, when the father was still alive, was crass and wrong. Installing two of his three daughters into the school named for the family, simply revolting.
At the October 16, 2019 debate 1:23:26 in on the tape- Mrs. Burke: "They're not all bad (the developers) but again...It takes creative thinking...it takes working with them and also expanding possibly our linkage..."
Actually, Mrs. Burke, it takes working with the citizens. You have polarized the city of Medford in a precise and deleterious way. You, Mark Rumley, Chief Buckley, Paul Covino - it is like a witch's coven, the secrecy, the conspiracy, the theft of public property that belongs to the citizens.

What is the point of this essay you may ask?
1)These letters and the blog that they appear on create a "public file." Self-absorbed politicians loathe transparency, and my writings. Mark Rumley throws rocks. Maybe if Mr. Rumley did a little bit of real work for the citizens he wouldn't get so much criticism. But he doesn't.
These individuals act like power-hungry little governors, and the mobster ingredient indicates that they spend too much time watching the Godfather film series and The Sopranos and truly take the elements of those violent stories to heart.

2) You can listen to Trump's 52 year old acting Chief of Staff "Mick" Mulvaney confess and admit to Trump's crimes.
These little "trial balloons" stating the obvious in hopes that the power of suggestion will absolve them.
In Medford, the McGlynn Doctrine - and McGlynn is still the power in Medford, his sick "consigliere" firmly entrenched in the law office where he does much, much damage - the McGlynn Doctrine - an endemic media blackout. Notice how the "debate" of October 16, 2019 is so hard to find. There's no exploitation of this event because the McGlynn/Burke cabal does not need the promo! They have a simple formula: don't let Breanna Lungo-Koehn get traction.
3)Stats on the views of the Debate video - station manager Patrick Gordon highly negligent in promoting this.
At 12:48 pm on Sunday 10/20/19 the Koehn/Burke debate video had 543 views since airing 7 pm or so October 16.
It had 446 views at 8:48 am Saturday morning, 10/19/19. Keep in mind - I promoted the video on Twitter, on the blog and on Facebook starting Saturday morning - so some of the new views in the past 29 hours can be attributed to my hard work, not city hall's.

How does Medford IMPROVE with this data?
The election is being tainted by Rumley & Co and their suppression of the media, especially the
public access television station, especially Rumley's fixation with a journalist working hard to get you, dear public, this essential information.
Don't expect town prostitute Michael Marks to do anything of substance. He's a shoo-in, he'll get his $30,000.00 or more to sit on the council and make speeches and do nothing. One year Marks was with the Dello Russo/Camuso crowd, now he's with the Breanna/Penta progressive way of thinking (yes, I know Bob Penta is a Republican nationally, take his national politics out of it and for the city Penta is very progressive - far more of a local Democrat than Stephanie "lip service" Burke could ever hope to be) You have to be able to differentiate between the two - conservative national politics versus progressive local politics.
Breanna Lungo-Koehn is a progressive. Penta, locally, is a progressive.
Stephanie Burke is the personification of a local Donald Trump and that should scare the hell out of every logical person looking to save money and not feed the beast.
Residents are happy to save $3.00 with a triple coupon at the grocery store, yet they let Muccini-Burke stick her hand into your purse or back pocket for your wallet and literally steal tens of thousands of dollars, raping your finances as clearly as Paul Donato likes his hand resting on Michael Marks' private parts. Donato is as flagrant as Trump: Want a job, Michael Marks? Be my bitch.

I know the true Michael Marks and he is ugly for Medford. Donato could have intercourse with
Marks on camera at the TV station, two old bodies naked for Medford to see, and like Trump they would look up and distract you from the contorted ugliness and say to you: " Who are you going to believe? Your own eyes or your state reprobate and city council ex vice president?"
And the voters are so stupid they don't know they are being raped and robbed by pure organized crime.
Which is why the healing of Medford will only begin with term limits and a new charter, something anathema to Muccini Burke and McGlynn
TERM LIMITS
The congressman said he wanted to be a "model for term limits," and added: "People need to realize ... this is public service not public life."
Rooney -- a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, which is at the center of the impeachment inquiry into Trump -- said Friday he had not yet come to a conclusion on whether the President committed a crime that compels his removal from office. His statement was a striking one among House Republicans defensive of Trump.
