For national office, both Lungo Koehn and Muccini-Burke are not running the kind of campaigns that get you elected to a higher plateau.

But this is local politics and clearly the consultants are telling Breanna Lungo-Koehn to stay the course, don't throw rocks, "you're the popular candidate."

And that is reflected in the signs around Medford. Less signs for Muccini-Burke, five times the signs by my estimate for Breanna.
But signs don't vote.

And McGlynn, the true "community organizer" for Muccini-Burke, is either aligned with Breanna (which I doubt very much) or the statute of limitations has run out. Probably the latter.
This election has zero firepower. The City Council candidates have not a clue how to use Twitter or cable access TV. The School Committee the most invisible entity in the city. AT ELECTION TIME?
It's a month away come this Saturday (or next Tuesday, depending on which perspective you have date-wise) and there is no effort by any candidate to "get the word out" effectively.
So Breanna waits a week when this website knows the urgency of the news cycle. OK, she's in the game now. Will Lungo-Koehn lower the boom on the misdeeds of Muccini-Burke?
We're certainly doing our part.
