Dear Keeper of the Records:

This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:

1)The campaign finance report from Middlesex Sheriff Peter Koutoujian that lists the alleged in-kind contribution from employee Paul A. Camuso made on or about November 2012.

Exhibit A
A May 2011 article in the MassBar.org publications - lawyer's journal, written by Christine P. O'Neill where Sheriff Koutoujian states emphatically that he won't take any contributions from his employees, as Jimmy DiPaola appeared to do.

Breaking the cycle

After taking office, Koutoujian established a policy prohibiting campaign contributions made by employees or having them solicitcampaign contributions from others. "The sheriff's office is powerful," he says. "I'm trying to set it up so the organization runs itself. [Decisions] can't be considered to be arbitrary and capricious." He has also established a chain of command to further empower staffers.

Then we actually see Sheriff Koutoujian campaigning with a reprobate City Councilor who has victimized residents attempting to speak at the city council, Koutoujian's employee, Paul A. Camuso CENSORING a man who asked about Camuso's vote for his own pay raise.  (Sheriff Koutoujian should have put the employee on notice after that stunt, but allegedly didn't).

People have said Mr. Koutoujian is a nice person, that may be so, this public records request is asking for the document where the Sheriff, Koutoujian, declares the contribution from Mr. Camuso a year after the Mass. Bar publication notes that Sheriff Koutoujian  "established a policy prohibiting campaign contributions made by employees"
