Complaint on COMCAST sent to AG's OFFICE re: ELECTION 2017

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Candidates tell me that Ben Brown, the mayor's unqualified pick for station manager of Medford Public Access, is stalling on airing candidate videos AND refuses to allow the candidates to use the Comcast/Verizon franchise fee funded station that the Mayor has hijacked for her own personal use and pleasure.

WE ARE GOING TO FILE COMPLAINTS WITH EVERY GOVERNMENT AGENCY AND DISCUSS THIS ATROCITY WITH LAWYERS; IF MUCCINI-BURKE STEALS ANOTHER ELECTION THROUGH UNDERHANDED TACTICS (Last election 2015 her city clerk violently yelled at me and shoved me - June 16, 2015 - and then allegedly ran around town saying his master, Stephanie Burke, would win the election. THE CORRUPT CITY CLERK WHO TOUCHES THE VOTES) and now we have this messing with the First Amendment to the Constitution, alleged threats by the mayor's husband, retaliation and ugliness that would make Vladmir Putin blush with envy.

Timothy Kelly at Comcast and State Rep Donato are fully aware of the shenanigans and should be held as responsible as Muccini-Burke for DENYING cable TV subscribers their FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS during an election cycle.  Mark Rumley should be fully investigated for lying to the public about his malicious, intentional and premeditated censorship tactics.

See complaint and demand to Attorney General's office filed on Comcast, to be filed on Verizon as well.  The Mayor (Burke) speaks of transparency and inclusion, the Diversity Director re-titled his office to include "inclusion" yet the city solicitor has publicly lied to us about his personal censorship tactics (an outrageous demand for a CORI ostensibly so that the mayor can check up on candidates running for office to run her sleaze campaigns as she did with her previous opponent.)

This is un-American, more like Mark Rumley - Dictator from Havana - thus, I have filed complaints with the A.G. and intend to file with the Dept. of Telecommunications and Cable, the Sec. of State, Federal Trade Commission and more until Muccini-Burke and her unethical Administration is brought to justice

The pattern of hiring FIVE unqualified station managers is insulting to cable subscribers.  Ben Brown has glitches in audio and video when he airs council meetings, cannot control feedback, has not put up a website in a timely manner, has allegedly an "Open House" no one knows about for two tiny hours 10 am - noon on Sunday the 15th, and is so unable to do the job of outreach, facilitation of programming and quickly and efficiently get cable subscribers' shows on the air (candidates tell me he looks nervous and unsure) that it is just a re-run of the four other unqualified (and in one case violent) station managers that ruined access TV in this ugly censorship concocted by Mark Rumley, Stephanie Muccini-Burke and Roy Belson, school superintendent.  Ben Brown is just as smug and smarmy

DEMAND

The AGO to come down HARD on Comcast (and Verizon, separate complaint) for knowingly, maliciously and willfully allowing Medford mayors to interfere in the election by cheating cable subscribers.

COMPLAINT

Comcast charges a franchise fee for public access television and has a too cozy relationship with former Mayor McGlynn and current Mayor Burke. Burke is conflicted as both Issuing Authority and Executive Director of the public access station. Comcast is aware that approx. 60% of the consumer cable tax for access tv is in city's general fund, outrageous 20% belonging allegedly to Government channel pays 3 teacher salaries, the remaining 20% targeted for the "Public" access now being used for Educational and Governmental. The Mayor is demanding a CORI check on the public, has a 5 page "Producer Agreement" that is not libel indemnification but sets consumers up for phony lawsuits and a demand they also hire the city attorney, and during election cycles (primary and general) the mayor allegedly won't let candidates use THEIR studio while the mayor abuses the funding to pleasure herself with the media. Comcast's Tim Kelly is fully aware (3/22/11 email) and the public pays and is cheated.
