Early to mid January 2018:
Jim Ricciardi, a Medford Police detective and resource officer at the
school district, hears about the incident from an uninvolved third
party, according to Police Chief Leo Sacco. Ricciardi speaks to Edwards
about the matter, but finds no item or incident to investigate.
