MEDFORD, MA – Medford Mayor Stephanie M. Burke has appointed three new members to the city's Cable Advisory Board. Gabrielle Follett Sumney, Jay Campbell and Yvette Wilks will assist the mayor in matters related to cable television services across Medford and guide the branding and membership drive for the new public access station.
"The newly appointed members will add tremendous value with their credible experience to this board," Burke said in a statement. "I am grateful that Medford residents' Gabrielle, Yvette and Jay have agreed to serve our community in this capacity, and I look forward to their work in collaboration with our Station Manager, Ben Brown."
"It doesn't happen immediately, but when you are at the end you really feel a warmth of love and privilege to have been given such a gift," Wilks said. "This is how I feel about being involved with the Cable Advisory Board, it is a gift."
