The Committee returned from Executive Session at 10:20 p.m.
 

The Committee voted to extend the Superintendent’s contract for two years including the following:
 


The School Committee approved a 2% salary increase for FY 16 at the rate of $177,401
and a 3% salary increase for FY 17 at the rate of $182,723. The Superintendent will be
entitled to a longevity increment consistent with the Administrator’s Contract for the
number of years served as a professional educator in the district in addition to the above
base salary amount. 


The salary shall be payable in equal installments consistent with the Administrators Bargaining Unit for twelve month employees.
 

In addition, the Superintendent will be credited with 60 days vacation from the outset of
this contract in lieu of any other compensation for accumulated vacation time earned by
the Superintendent during the preceding years of his employment with the Medford
Public Schools. 


All accumulated vacation time will be paid to the Superintendent in the next pay period following resignation, retirement or termination at the rate of $666.37 per day.
 

The Superintendent shall be entitled to all holidays recognized by the Committee and
made available to any other community employee.
