THE CASE AGAINST BEN BROWN
Mayor Muccini-Burke found a young man with no real life experience, little or no knowledge of Medford, and inserted him into the hostile snake pit, the 35 year or so Groundhog Day movie that has been the alleged access television station in Medford.
Mrs. Burke didn't give a damn about you or your kids or your grandparents when she made this very bad choice, following a string of very bad station managers dating back to the Steve Marra, Jason Salzarulo* and Dawn Natalia eras.
*Jason Salzarulo was a good kid, he wasn't as bad as the other three pests. But he was equally incompetent, clueless and should never have been hired.

Look at Ben Brown's thin resume and education. What the heck does that kid know about managing your access television station at $67,500.00?
MEDFORD — Benjamin Brown has been appointed station manager for the new public access station and Community Media Center, located at the Medford Vocational and Technical High School as part of the Medford High School complex.
Brown received a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production from the New England Institute of Art* (SEE BELOW!)
He most recently worked as a technology and operations manager for Brookline Interactive Group and a freelance technical director and video engineer for AVI Staging of Boston.

According to city and school officials, Brown’s goal for the Community Media Center is to bring the current model of community media to Medford, expanding from just public access programming to include media literacy courses and other multimedia opportunities for students.
$67,500.00 paid by a conflicted mayor to yet another untested novice! Hasn't Medford paid the price and had enough?

In the middle of yet another election cycle!!
Benjamin Browh has DENIED voters the civil rights people in our neighboring cities and towns probably take for granted.
Of course a weak mayor has to cheat, so stealing civil rights and cable ratepayer fees comes naturally to the dishonest mayor, Stephanie Muccini Burke
It is pure dishonesty and Muccini Burke is now propping Ben Brown up to be her unethical scarecrow
So the community can thank this blog for getting Roy Belson's words, Ben Brown's words, Adam Knight's silly, silly words on public record, and the ferocious responses from Michael Marks, Bob Penta, Cheryl Rodriguez, David McKillop and Joe Viglione
Again we have utilized Open Meeting Law, Public Records Requests, City Council meeting and its cablecast on the government channel and the FACTS to expose Ben Brown just as we exposed the four charlatans/hijackers before him.*
And do we need to remind you of the despicable individuals who used the staff for their own personal slaves, prostituting the access TV monies so that a fraudulent "Money Managers" program aired instead of public access TV. What Stephanie is doing is just as wrong, ugly and evil as the board of directors Stephanie Muccini-Burke despised.

Divisive and unpopular school superintendent Roy E. Belson lied in the press release picked up by the Item and the Medford Transcript:
“We look forward to working with Ben (Brown) to make this great new facility both a very successful community access program and a significant educational opportunity for Medford students,” Belson said in a statement.

This from the individual, Belson, who commented in front of new teacher Krissy Fraser (also taken from the Brookline Interactive Group) "Joe thinks I hide sexual predators at the high school" - when the track record under Roy E. Belson is a pension for embattled Mark Smith, a trial for embattled Jenna Tarabelsi, and the cloud over Belson's head that are the ugly rumors surrounding the varsity coach that was ousted very quickly. The sexual predator problem at Medford High School allegedly can be DIRECTLY blamed on the Superintendent of Schools, Roy E. Belson. This new nonsense of a CORI report for every candidate is only a ruse, a way for Muccini-Burke to peer into the backgrounds of her competition during an election cycle.
Belson and Mrs. Burke, (Mayor Mrs. Burke - who allegedly has lost the entire Assesor's Dept - all three employees - this past week of 9/20/17 - after the city council meeting) - have a knack for being unable to hire the right people. And now Medford suffers under another poor choice who, in my opinion, lied to the citizens at the city council meeting of this past week, 9/19/17. We have the evidence on tape.
At the meeting the despicable Adam Knight praised Ben Brown. What the hell does Knight know about access television? He knows that when Ben Brown censors and discriminates against other candidates that it is BAD for Medford, and good for Adam Knight.
The quote in the Medford Transcript August 2, 2017 states:
"Brown hopes that students won’t just come for class, but instead “make them involved in the rest of the media center.”
So it shows that Brown is more interested in the students than the public access and the candidates, his orders from on high, the unclean hands of Stephanie Muccini-Burke prostituting a young man who has little Medford experience, little life experience, and who is allowing himself to hurt people in Medford at the whims of a mad woman, Stephanie Muccini Burke.

*Journalist Joe Viglione was speaking about radio and public access at the New England Institute of Art before Ben Brown even applied to join the school, and created public access panels for the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System in Boston, New York and Chicago.
Viglione was program director of AM 1570 WNSH (South Hamilton, Mass.) in 1992 when he was also a consultant, advertising executive and producer at 93.7 WCGY, Lawrence/Boston.
In 2000 Viglione was program director of AM 1670 personally re-broadcasting the shows on Saturday night at AM 740, the very popular WJIB.
His radio show has aired on WCUW (then at Clark University, Worcester, 1978,) 91.5 WMFO, WUNR AM, Boston, Boston Free Radio Somerville (where Joe was on the board of directors, 2015-16,) recently aired on WBCA Boston ---his TV show aired on more public access TV stations than anyone can recall!
