BEN BROWN FAILED TO CONTROL FEEDBACK AT 9/19/17 CITY COUNCIL MEETING

HORRENDOUS SOUND AT 9/19/17 CITY COUNCIL

NEW STATION MANAGER DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO CONTROL FEEDBACK...TELLS VETERAN HE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO RUN BACK TO THE AUDIO AT THE STATION

WRONG ANSWER!

Residents - when you got FEEDBACK on 9/19/17 and "audio expert" Ben Brown (look at his linked in) didn't know what the heck to do, you have to ask yourself just because Brown calls himself an audio expert doesn't mean that he is when he can't control feedback.
Ben Brown told me that he didn't have time to run back to the station to fix the audio. So I asked him a simple question "If all the speakers had feedback, and Joe Viglione spoke without feedback, why is that?"
Ben Brown "I dunno." DUH
Because, Ben, young man, you didn't have to go running back from the auditorium to the audio booth at the station --- all you had to do was to tell the speakers to stand eight inches away from the microphone as I did.

DO YOU REALLY FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH A KID WHO DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL HE IS DOING RUNNING YOUR ACCESS STATION INTO THE GROUND.

I told Ben I could have had this all up and running yesterday.

The smug and antagonistic child said "I doubt that."
Doubt all you want. Your resume', Ben, says that you spent two months doing lighting for a Jimmy Buffet tribute band. You are THAT DESPERATE for a resume' piece?

I was putting PBS specials together as Director of Research for a national company after I was station manager of AM 1570 and before I was manager of AM 1670...but don't let facts, experience and age old wisdom get in the way of Stephanie Muccini-Burke's censorship scheme.
THIS IS WHAT IS RUIINING YOUR ACCESS TV IN 2017, MEDFORD. HAVEN'T WE HAD ENOUGH OF THESE NOVICES LEARNING ON
THE JOB AT OUR EXPENSE.
IT IS TOO HIGH A PRICE TO PAY.

Ben Brown's sad lack of qualifications to ruin - not run - but ruin our station withy

"I'm here to make sure that this TV station is the best it can be for
ourselves and for our children" Judge Marie O. Jackson-Thompson (retired)

City Solicitor Mark E. Rumley / Medford Daily Mercury on or about Nov. 16, 2008 (quoted from the 2nd Judge Jackson-Thompson hearing) saying:

“The one sentiment that I have heard that I take great exception to is that the city is trying to limit speech,” said Rumley. “The notion the city would censor or squelch free speech is baseless and as city solicitor I would find any such effort repugnant.”
On Sept. 1, 2016 Medford Solicitor Rumley was removed from a witness stand by a judge for testimony deemed "irrelevant."  On September 28, 2017,
Rumley admitted that he put the demand for a CORI check into the public
access producer agreement.
