Hello Chief Sacco and Neil Osborne:
I am going to file a police report on the harassment I have faced over the past 48 hours from Mark Tonello. I believe Mr. Tonello is engaged in retaliation on behalf of City Council President Rick Caraviello after I defeated Mr. Caraviello in a court of law 1/31/17.
1)While I was dining at Carroll's Restaurant a few years back Mr. Tonello and his wife decided to sit next to me. I did not know them.
Mr. Tonello was pumping me for information so I listened and didn't say much.
2)Mr. Tonello has - strangely - been showing up at coffee shops when I am there, be it Dunkin Donuts on Commercial Street, Dunkin Donuts in Haines Sq. I'm sitting there minding my own business, Tonello appears out of nowhere, purchases whatever, and leaves. It goes beyond the point of coincidence.
3)March 28, 2017, when I asked to sit at the journalist's table, via e mail, in advance in Alden Chambers, Caraviello told me to tape Facebook live over in a corner where the audio would be lower. I complied with Caraviello's request. He stated "I'm calling the police anyway." He had Mark Tonello in the back of the room ready to videotape me. I believe that Rick Caraviello was abusing the police department AGAIN after he lost in court to retaliate. I immediately picked up my equipment because of Caraviello's blatant violation of the Open Meeting Law and walked out before Tonello could videotape a police escort. Both police officers were VERY PROFESSIONAL, and complied with my request to write in the report that I left of my own volition.
3)May 19, 2017 1:02 pm Mr Tonello and Mr. Caraviello were near my home. I have photos of Caraviello.
4)A day or so later Caraviello is yelling in my car window from the corner of Spring St. and Central Ave. I have the exact date written in my e mails, will seek it out.
5)On or about Oct 11 or 12 (I have it filed) Tonello started lying about the Witness Intimidation case on my page in Facebook. I gathered enough evidence and blocked him.
6)On 10/12/17 at about 6:45 pm prior to the mayoral candidates speaking Mr. Tonello parked next to where I was parking, simultaneously. Now this is getting very creepy. So my vehicle I moved to the back of city hall. As I drove by the George P. Hasset Drive doorway Tonello stared me down menacingly. It was absolutely chilling.
7)When I get into Alden Chambers Tonello, with Neil Osborne there, starts singing loudly a threatening "TIME IS ON MY SIDE" as if he is going to hurt me at some point. It was an absolute threat. He kept singing loudly off-key TIME IS ON MY SIDE.
I will be filing for a restraining order at this point. Enough is enough.
Prior to the trial on 1/31/17 that Caraviello lost, he and Tonello showed up at an event I had at Carroll's restaurant. They made a point of badgering my guest of honor, the man who is the photographer for the N.E. Patriots. This is about a week before the trial. It was pure harassment. Why would Caraviello show up to my event when his malicious abuse of process is going to trial in a week?
I also heard from a good source that Caraviello was telling everyone at Demet's Donuts on the morning of January 31, 2017 that he was going to "put" me "away for a long time."
This is abuse of power, abusing the police department, and you and your men went along with it, Chief Sacco, at the exact point in time that your son was not brought in with his little alleged problem on or about January 23, 2017. So in Medford journalists have no free speech rights, but the son of a cop is treated differently than the sons of two police officers in the city of Boston, who allowed their sons to be arrested.

The police refused to press charges on Ed Finn for shoving me - and Caraviello testified under oath that the city clerk was involved in a "yelling incident." Since I was quiet as a church mouse, you do the math.
As you have failed to protect this journalist in the past, Chief Sacco, I am putting this on record for the sake of getting the facts down. Ed Finn harassed me prior to the 2015 eleciton, now Caraviello and his friend are harassing and stalking me prior to the 2017 election. There is no excuse for Caraviello following me around before and after he lost.
Rick Caraviello and Mark Tonello are not above the law. I have a complaint filed with Neil Osborne on three city councilors. This is pure retaliation for my free speech and my age discrimination complaint.
I intend to protect myself and if the Medford Police fail to do it, I will go to a higher authority in Boston including but not limited to the Attorney General's Office and the Mass. Commission Against Discrimination.
Every citizen has a right to go to city hall without some stalker singing a threatening "TIME IS ON MY SIDE"
