July 24, 2014 - when Rumley screwed up. Was it intentional to protect his friends on the TV3 Board?

TV3′s Board of Directors now has until Thursday, July 24 (2014) to produce financial records from the station’s final year or it could face legal action from the city.

Last October, the board voted to dissolve the station following seven months of no broadcasting, allegations of racism and other problems.

Although TV3 has been off-air for almost 16 months, the dissolution process requires the nonprofit file paperwork with the state Attorney General’s Office and transfer remaining assets to the city of Medford.

According to the AG’s website, MCC President Frank Pilleri submitted a petition for MCC’s dissolution June 18. In his letter, Pilleri said MCC had distributed all its assets to the city.

Rumley said he received notice from the AG’s office July 21 that it would not accept the petition for dissolution filed by Pilleri for MCC in June.

Emalie Gainey, a representative from the AG’s office, said “the request for dissolution is ongoing.“
