Why Didn't Mark Rumley Seek OUTSIDE COUNSEL to Investigate 501c3 Rumley was a Board Member of???

PLEASE NOTE: RUMLEY HAD LEFT THE BOARD BEFORE HE STARTED INVESTIGATING, BUT WITH THE OH SO COZY NATURE OF THIS, WHERE THE PRESIDENT OF THE TV STATION SAID IN THE MEDFORD TRANSCRIPT POINT BLANK THAT RUMLEY WAS HIS FRIEND, IT WAS NOT FAIR TO THE CABLE TV SUBSCRIBERS TO HAVE RUMLEY INVESTIGATE A FRIEND AND THEN ABANDON THE INVESTIGATION

Rumley had left the board, but he got oh too  cozy when he testified on behalf of a stalker that was an alleged accomplice of the board of directors of the failed 501c3, Medford Community Cablevision, Inc., and - rather than leave the courthouse - Rumley's ugly decision to hang around with his pals, two of them - at least - from MCC TV3 - speaks volumes about his lack of ethics for the cable TV subscribers he is supposed to watch out for, not the rogues who were thrown out on their collective asses for their buffoonery.   Questions continue to swirl around the old and the alleged "new" access in the city of Medford

from the article:Potential Conflicts of Interest
Conflicts can arise for lawyers serving as members of a nonprofit's board of directors because of the duties imposed on nonprofit directors as well as lawyers' ethical duties to clients as set forth in the Model Rules. As part of the duty of loyalty, a director is required to act in the best interests of the organization, which can include, for example, not using confidential information of the organization to the detriment of the organization. With such duty to the organization, a lawyer's service on the board of directors of a nonprofit

Mark E. Rumley's allegedly tainted investigation of his pals on MCC TV3's board of directors needs to be investigated by outside counsel.  We are soon demanding this of Mayor Burke for the Election of 2019.

To protect the public from Rumley's bizarre CORI check and other inconsistencies from the law office, we are confidentially reporting to multiple other agencies that we cannot discuss here...yet...for obvious reasons.

We are asking a question.

Mr. Rumley was appointed to the board of Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. once, possibly twice.    Rumley claimed to this writer that he detested being on the board and couldn't wait to leave the position, replaced by a very nice woman who was harassed and humiliated by the creepy individuals who destroyed Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. and are still being investigated by the office of the Attorney General according to the most recent Public Records Request response.

WHAT SHOULD A LAWYER DO?
Should I lawyer investigate a board that he sat on and then run away like a coward from the investigation when he claimed he raised different issues than the Attorney General's Public Charities Division only to THROW the hot potato he said was separate AT the Attorney General

A lawyer/director must be mindful of the fiduciary duties imposed on directors of nonprofit organizations, the ethical duties imposed on lawyers, as well as the potential issues that arise as a result of a lawyer serving on a nonprofit board. Although there are some risks associated with such service, there are ways that these risks might be managed.
