The jury trial for two of Mayor Martin Walsh’s City Hall lieutenants facing extortion charges will resume July 22, after a final pretrial conference Monday.

Kenneth Brissette, the city’s tourism chief, and Timothy Sullivan, chief of staff of intergovernmental relations, are facing extortion charges under the Hobbs Act for allegedly bullying Crash Line Productions, a concert organizer, into hiring unneeded union labor for the 2014 Boston Calling music festival at City Hall Plaza.
