Another topic discussed at the meeting was upcoming repairs and improvements for Medford City Hall, including replacement of the building’s roof, ceiling repairs and renovations in the City Council chambers, repairs to the front entrance and a new front-entry rail system.
On April 30, the city issued a request for qualifications for the proposed work from architectural and engineering firms. New Budget and Personnel Director Louise Miller said she estimated the cost of repairs at $2 million.
