HEY - who is Attorney Donald DeMayo and is it true? After a "worldwide search" that we are oh so familiar with in Medford, is Attorney DeMayo set to get hired in our fair city?

Enquiring minds want to know!!!!!!!

(Note to Attorney DeMayo - employees are FLEEING from Medford City Hall...are you sure you want to come to this city during this time of government employment turmoil?  Just sayin'.....)

Hey, at one point in time the Medford Housing Authority had someone with a rather poor reputation holding the keys to every apartment ...and if you are asking the obvious question "why  hire someone with rumors swirling around them... like Jenna Tarabelsi, as Roy Belson did at the high school ...to his chagrin,"  well, the punchline is that the Housing Authority reportedly / allegedly  didn't do CORI checks, and that's how a registered sex offender had keys to every apartment.

That individual passed away February 14, 2014 and now, it seems, another individual who passed away on or about January 22, 2007 was in a similar predicament.

Reportedly, that person's attorney may get hired in the city of Medford.

Do stay tuned.

Magno, a teacher at Maynard High for more than four decades and an advisor to the school's radio and television station, was arraigned this morning at Emerson Hospital in Concord, where he has been since Friday night, being treated for unspecified medical problems.

Magno has been charged with sexual assault on a 17-year-old male. The teen, a senior at the high school, alleges the assaults happened while he was in eighth through 10th grades, sometimes on school grounds and sometimes in Magno's car and other locations.

HUDSON, MA - Joseph Magno, the former Maynard teacher accused of raping one of his students, was found dead in his home yesterday just hours after appearing in Middlesex Superior Court.
"We got word that he died, but we have no information about how," said Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone.

Leone, who was informed of Magno's death about 8 last night, said a friend of Magno's found the former teacher dead in his home at 12 Rock Ave. That friend called police after finding Magno, he said.

Magno, who taught off and on for more than 40 years at Maynard High School, was under house arrest after being indicted last January on 18 counts of rape and indecent assault.

Leone said no cause of death was known as of 10:30 p.m. He was unsure if Magno's family had been notified.
