PART III of series on Jenn Dever Wood

LAW DEPARTMENT DOESN'T DO ITS JOB AND PUT A CONTRACT TOGETHER FOR THE NEW CHIEF OF STAFF, DEVER WOOD, AFTER TERESA WALSH ALLEGEDLY GOT THE DENVER BOOT!

LITERALLY WITH WALSH'S OFFICE REPORTEDLY LOCKED UP AND WALSH FROG-MARCHED OUT THE FRONT DOOR BY THE CHARLATAN MUCCINI-BURKE ADMINISTRATION

You Can See A Bright Beautiful Smile from Atty. Kim Scanlon, but Rumley gives the camera the "Nell Coakley" tight-lipped special.

What is he hiding?

Who does he think he is? The Mona Lisa?

ESSAY

Law Department Leaves City of Medford Exposed when Mark Rumley, City Solicitor, writes that there is no contract with new Chief-of-Staff Jenn Dever Wood.

How stupid is that? Reportedly, Attorney Teresa Walsh was frog-marched out of her office in the most embarrassing of ways in February of 2016 by the arrogant Muccini-Burke Administration and now, ho hum, Mark Rumley writes that there is no contract with her successor.

No contract? No contact.

What kind of "law" department leaves a city so exposed? : Jenn Dever Wood can waltz back to Superior Court ...walk back to the Trial Court and most likely have her old job back if things don't work out with Assistant Clerk Brian S. Burke's wife. In what reality to you have such a golden parachute?
And when you read "highest ethical standards" and see Rumley up there screaming at a city councilor to "bring it on" because, boo hoo, Rumley was called one of the mayor's "henchmen" along with Lauren DiLorenzo, well, your "ethical standards" are right out the window when Rumley plays games with the fees in regards to the public records law. Free today, a hundred bucks tomorrow, two dollars the day after that. Rumley's fee schedule appears as erratic as his Jekyll and Hyde persona... maybe someday Rumley will actually get angry with his former board members at Medford Community Cablevision, Inc., but the crooked ways of TV3 were enabled by the likes of "highest ethical standards" Rumley and his negligence, his dereliction of duty, in regards to his pals on the Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. board that he sat on, going through the dog and pony shows of a fraud "election" promised by Rumley that never happened (2009/2009) - resulting in citizens (plural) getting dragged into court by Rumley's vindictive fellow board members.

And now Jenn Dever Wood has no contract, and Rumley actually put that in writing. "Highest ethical standards?" Ya Think?

"Government to operate at maximum potential with minimal risk" - ?

Ya Think?

Do these people read their own job descriptions posted on the city website or do they just make it up as they go along?

A State Trooper in another city alleged to have strangled his girlfriend, another state trooper (or is she lying to get out of the relationship) goes through the court system. Sgt. James Lee attacks and punches a woman he may have been dating for seven years and Muccini-Burke gives him a slap on the wrist, Rumley allegedly recusing himself because it was the brother of the former budget director, Richard Lee, and just that fact shows the nepotism in the city of Medford.

This woman didn't claim that she was strangled which resulted in a state trooper getting jailed; she was actually punched in the mouth by her boyfriend (allegedly a boyfriend of seven years,) and received 8 stitches.  Sgt Jimmy Lee, caught in an episode of domestic violence, violence against women, and allegedly cheating on his wife and shredding his marriage vows, gets a slap on the wrist from Stephanie Muccini-Burke, and Rumley wants you to believe the city's law department works at the "highest of ethical standards."  By whose standard? Bernie Madoff?

Mr. Rumley, standing by and "recusing" yourself while your best friend's brother can punch a woman in the mouth with the smallest of repercussions, the police chief blaming the victim and saying in the press, to the press, that she has "issues" - that's not the highest of ethical standards.

But we're not telling you anything that you do not know, just things you do not want to hear.

Jenn Dever Wood has no contract and is one of the most visible people in the embattled Muccini-Burke Administration.

Maybe the city lawyer was too busy writing hate mail to me and charging me $2.00 in a sophomoric stunt to actually do his job.
