Superintendents Arrested on Domestic Violence, Drunk Driving

Council President Fred Dello Russo Jr. TWICE denied a citizen the right to discuss the Transition Team that he is on. What a conflict of interest, a member of the team denying civil rights at the People's Forum.   What a CONFLICT OF INTEREST and DERELICTION OF DUTY!!!

Not only does each councilor and school committee member need to be scrutinized before and after each election, the school superintendent should come before the city council to be "vetted" since the school committee isn't doing anything to inform the public after so much nonsense has hit the newspapers under Roy E. Belson's purview.

School Superintendents should be held to the HIGHEST of standards with strict evaluations - performance evaluations - held so that we don't run into more problems

Former Daleville City Schools Superintendent Andrew Kelley was arrested on third degree domestic violence charges by the Dothan Police Department.
Court records show that Kelley has been harassing a female victim with emails and a written letter. He followed it up by showing up at her place of employment. This all came after he was told not to according to court documents.
Kelley resigned earlier this year at Daleville but gave no specific reason for his decision. The school board kept him on in a consulting role.

An Oswego County school superintendent has been suspended from his job after getting into a car crash and being charged with drunken driving.

At an emergency meeting Thursday night the nine-member Central Square school board went into executive session "to discuss the superintendent's evaluation with counsel."

The school board exited executive session about an hour later and voted 9-0 to suspend Superintendent Joseph A. Menard with pay pending an investigation into his drunken driving arrest. Menard was paid $172,838 in 2015, according to See Through New York, an online database of public employee salaries.

Menard, 58, of 90 Adrian Circle, Constantia, was charged Wednesday by state troopers with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
