Leominster woman kills boyfriend day he's released from jail, police say
Man released from jail on domestic charge Wednesday, police say
Leominster police said they received a call from Stephanie Cruz, 28, of Water Street, Thursday morning who said that she had stabbed her boyfriend around 8 p.m. Wednesday.When police arrived at the scene they said they found a large amount of dried blood throughout the apartment, and found Cedric Taylor, 37, dead on the floor of a stab wound to his stomach.

McPhee pleaded not guilty to all charges against her Thursday.
Condeliere said he asked McPhee to exit
the highway, so they were not stopped in traffic, which she did, he
said, though not before hitting a curb.

“The man came up to me at that point and said: ‘I’m not being funny but did you just say that lad’s going to cut my son’s hair’, to which I replied ‘yes’," Hughes explained. “He then said, ‘Well I assume he’s gay and I don’t want him cutting my lad’s hair so could you do it,' to which I said no because I’m gay as well.”
The incident left the staff at Russell Paul Hairdressing shaken, and Hughes decided to take action. In order to avoid future interactions with bigoted individuals, Hughes installed this sign on the front of his store:
