QUESTION: Did Mark E. Rumley run a legal practice out of Rep Paul Donato's office which had him allegedly representing himself as a bill collector at Somerville District Court on Thursdays?
---the city needs a City Solicitor 24/7, especially for the enormous amount of money paid to Rumley.
---Rumley has to come forward and discuss this allegation at a meeting of the city council. If he did work for himself "on company time," no matter what a mayor may or may not have allowed our solicitor to do, this writer believes it was unfair and this writer also believes it was SERIOUSLY unethical.
THE NEXT TIME RUMLEY GLARES WITH A MEAN SPIRIT AT SOMEONE OR YELLS AT COUNCILOR MICHAEL MARKS, DEMAND RUMLEY COME CLEAN ON THESE ALLEGATIONS.

Did Rumley "moonlight" on the city from his office on Spring Street to have a second job DURING THE DAY on Thursdays at Somerville District Court?
If so, is that "upholding the highest ethical standards," as advertised and PROMISED on the city website?

Sec. 54-32. - Composition.
The mayor shall, in his discretion, determine the complement of the police department which shall not exceed one chief of police, five captains, nine lieutenants, 18 sergeants and such police officers as may be from time to time determined.

Why was a guitar player viciously assaulted by ex-football player Edward P. Finn and the police, rather than uphold the law, DENIED the citizen his civil rights, and then filed a phony case of "witness intimidation" to smear and bully a journalist investigating what is going on in this city.
Why would an outgoing police chief threaten a man because that man spoke at the city council noting a Channel 5 report on the son of the police chief pulled over and not given a field sobriety test or breathalyzer; had his gun, keys and truck taken away from him, and had some relative drive him home.
Do you feel safe in the city of Medford when shenanigans like that go on? From allegations of a city lawyer moonlighting to a police chief allowing a phony trial to happen at the exact moment in time, contemporaneously, with an MBTA officer named Sacco not allowed to have his gun, his keys or his truck.
