This editor has told certain members of the Medford Police Department time and time again that they are officers of the law 24/7. That means that they cannot scribble on Facebook as we do, for one very simple reason.
It can be used against them in a court of law to show credibility. (...or lack thereof...)
ANYONE a police officer testifies against can do a Google search and impeach the credibility of the officer if they got weird on social media with political and other views. I'm not a lawyer, just someone with a clue!

The Medford Police Patrolmen’s Association and the Massachusetts Municipal Police Coalition disagree with the Commission’s allegations.
