In 1988 the great Jimmy Miller brought me to a Keith Richards recording session in New York.
Keith introduced me to his producer, who actually was Mr. Miller's engineer on the hit "Heartbreaker" by the Rolling Stones from Goats Head Soup.

The producer is still a dear friend of mine, and I get to tell everyone that Keith introduced us...

Keith: Joe...you have to meet....

And Keith introduced us.  We've been friends every since, for the past 31 years...

Here's what the fellow who made records for The Beach Boys, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, the Stones and a Top 10 hit with Eric Clapton said about your editor on my show, Visual Radio:

Quote: "You're such a detail expert and you're such an appreciator of talent and somebody that keeps track of how good people are and how good they are relative to other people and all that sort of stuff which a lot of people don't have the time or patience or even the inclination to do, but your standards are so high and your knowledge is so vast ...you're an exceptional person in that respect, there's not many people that are your peer....in that way"

JV: Sometimes I can't grasp someone's performance until the tenth viewing. Then you realize that they really have it down."

Producer: "I know, and maybe it's not meant to be grasped by viewing. Sometimes I listen to a record and ...I can listen to a record a half a dozen times ...and never really hear the lyrics...and just get so into the groove ...and the music...and the jungle vibe of it ...and that whole thing and I'm like and, you know, this is the soundtrack for real life...and then you hear the words and the lyrics go to this soundtrack for real life ...and now you've got some real magic going on...you've got this combination of these great lyrics...
