JV:  a lot of unfinished business went down. Allegations that a certain government official's father got $80K per year, allegedly, for a now show job over on Mystic Ave was in direct conflict with that sheriff's campaign promise for no nepotism. It was ALL nepotism. How the heck did a former city councilor ever get to work over there? After his passing there was a promise by another attorney for "no shredding" when the rumors were wild that they were shredding so much Ollie North was blushing with envy. A rather famous attorney told the city council about that 80K no show job - which I knew the allegations about before he put it on public record. The attorney said 80k for 3 years, I had a rumor that it was 8 years! I do not believe that the sheriff committed suicide. The connection between the late sheriff's office and Medford City Hall was thick, slinking its way over to the Medford Housing Authority. It's disgusting what they got away with and if the late sheriff had to "take one for the team," the citizens have a right to know how deep the swamp goes. Citizens deserve to know exactly what went down, and Martha Coakley sealing this document (or multiple documents.) Rumor has it DiPaola left more than one page. Why did the sheriff go to Maine? Yes, it was where two families vacationed, allegedly, but he probably was heading to a meeting, wanted to cross state lines so that - perhaps - higher authorities would investigate. Why does a death suddenly make all the alleged malfeasance disappear? The citizens need to know exactly what was going on at the office of the Middlesex Sheriff. Who got hired, how and why? And when citizens turn a blind eye to allegations of government officials robbing them blind, well... People may not agree with my investigations, but once they are concluded, so many people thank me for my hard work on their behalf. People need to be as outraged as I am...really

many have asked why there is no book on all this. My response is that these are garden variety reprobates. Boring on their face. And they WANT to be boring because they don't want anyone looking too deep into the mess that they created. But a good writer could probably make the unspeakable practices intriguing. I know lots more that I'm holding back on...a certain former mayor allegedly thought that on the Monday morning after the sheriff's death he, the mayor, was going to be arrested by the feds. Why would a mayor in office THAT long and lusting for year 30 suddenly leave? He claimed it was to "retire" to watch the grand kids. Really? Why is he working for at least one, maybe two corporations that are set on renovating a major street in Medford? That street is the same street where the late sheriff had his office. No coincidence there! Maybe the former mayor is teaching the grand kids politics at corporate meetings, but I sincerely doubt it. He just lied about the "retirement" because to tell the truth would be embarrassing. By the way, 5 confidential sources that didn't know each other gave me lots of info on why that particular mayor had to step down.
