The voters want to KNOW about the candidates; they don't want candidates using it as a platform to gain themselves attention, the way Camuso has done for years.
Jeanne Martin did NOT use the video of her Veteran's Day speech. She is not using her veteran status for votes. That I truly believe. What Jeanne needs to do, though, to earn the respect of voters, is to stop talking about herself and start talking about issues and solutions for those issues. This is a respectful post. Anyone notice how Jeanne Martin - at School Committee and City Council meetings has always been alone, sitting by herself, and vanishing after the meetings. Notice how last night she was sitting directly with two candidates. This kind of behavior is of concern. We don't want the "buddy system" with our politicians, we want politicians who work for the people. Jeanne can stop this practice by dropping the word "I" from each and every one of her columns. This is something explained to her when putting her campaign together months and months ago and is just a friendly reminder: it is about the voters, this isn't a beauty pageant.
