Seems to be missing in action!
Anthony D'Antonio gave Michael J. McGlynn a political beat-down on Tuesday, October 16 at the Candidates Night and in a city where there is no public access television, how convenient that when I asked the City Clerk's office if they had the DVD today at 4:25 PM I was referred to the Democratic City and Ward Committee. If this is the only face-to-face confrontation between D'Antonio and McGlynn, and if McGlynn has failed to allow public access television on the air in this community, he being the sole oversight - the ISSUING AUTHORITY - then you know that this election is being tampered with, just as there are allegations of the UN-Democratic City and Ward Committee fooling around with the program in 2011.
HAS POLICE CHIEF SACCO TAGGED THIS VEHICLE YET? WHY NOT???

Allegedly, Michael J. McGlynn has never worked an honest (read-private sector) job in his life. We can vouch for the fact that Paul Donato was a manufacturer's rep because he would come to our office on Park Street back in the 1970s It is good that Mr. Donato was a "man of the people" and understands what it is like to be in the real world as well as in politics. So I personally witnessed Paul Donato working hard back in the day. Anyone have proof that McGlynn has done anything but live off of the backs of the public cutting ribbons and spewing hot air?
It is election 2013 and the citizens have a right to know why ANYONE would be in the corner officer for 26 years. If McGlynn had an ounce of integrity he would have resigned, and in this short political cycle over the next 14 days, the voters better come out and make their voices heard at the ballot box: LOUD AND CLEAR. Where oh where is that tape that has McGlynn turning beet red, angry, embarrassed and looking like he's about to go Vesuvias?

McGlynn has two of his daughters working at the McGlynn School - how convenient. Why aren't YOUR daughters teaching water color and being paid by the public. What does Mike McGlynn think this is, the family business? Look at the tentacles that reach out across the Commonwealth.
Look, few people know who the Mayor of Springfield and the Mayor of Fall River and the Mayor of Worcester are. Mayors are not as well known as governors, so McGlynn's name is only known - pretty much -in the Medford city limits. Except, of course, when McGlynn is seen when embattled Sheriff James DiPaola was all over the news. And why is DiPaola's wife working as a secretary for Mike McGlynn in Medford City Hall. Adeline DiPaola slammed the phone in the ear of a constituent one day. How rude of a "public servant." But that kind of unbecoming behavior goes a long way to showing that YOU are the serf in the eyes of McGlynn and Mike thinks he is a king.
The other woman in Mike's life, Sheila McGlynn, his wife, works as "
an administrative assistant in the offices of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation in Cambridge." according to an August 2010 New York Times story on the wedding of Kathleen McGlynn to one William Breslin Brady. You know Mr. Brady as the fellow who bought the property over on Winthrop Street from soon-to-be-ex Council President Robert Maiocco's mother-in-law's estate
Wonder if Mrs. McGlynn spends Friday nights up at Bob Covelle and Patricia DiPaola Covelle's Stoneham residence after Martha Coakley just gave the two other members of the embattled DiPaola clan her obligatory "slap on the wrists" professional courtesy given to all members of the McGlynn extended family. Those accused of a false bomb threat are not included, to their chagrin! Ever notice how some of these people seem to skate like Tonya Harding after being sneaky when Nancy Kerrigan is the more talented athlete, but we digress.
McGlynn's sister, Bernadette (she is the Commissioner, Dept. Developmental Services) is married to Jonathan R. Davis, the Chief Financial Officer of the MBTA They both live on Governors Avenue, a stone's throw from McGlynn's cousin-by-marriage attorney David-I-Profit-Handsomely-From-Cable-TV-Subscribers. Jonathan Davis, in the private sector, would get booted - FIRED - in not ceremonious fashion by Donald Trump via text for the shenanigans over at the MBTA "What, only 734 discrimination complaints" public transportation operation.
State audit: The actual money turned in from MBTA fare boxes doesn't match the amounts recorded by those boxes

The [automated fare collection] system does not properly record all essential events necessary to properly track the removal, deposit, and reinsertion of cash boxes into assigned fare boxes. The inability of the AFC system to give MBTA management reliable tracking information regarding the movement of fare box cash exposes such revenue to potential fraudulent activity.

How very convenient for Jonathan R. "Mr. Bernadette McGlynn" Davis.
Then there's Eric Moskowitz's piece in the Globe:
MBTA may halt $190m order for commuter rail cars

“I am writing this letter to you to convey my profound disappointment for Hyundai Rotem’s seemingly lack of commitment to improve its chronically unsatisfactory performance,” Jonathan R. Davis, the T’s chief financial officer, wrote. He cited materials shortages and workmanship at plants in South Korea and Philadelphia that “has degraded at an alarming rate.”
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority declined to make officials available for interviews Thursday but confirmed the letter’s authenticity.
Welcome to the McGlynn Family Carnival, on the public dole. Daddy Jack McGlynn allegedly had a nice no-show job at the Sheriff's office under Jimmy DiPaola while cousin John Granara, McGlynn's defacto campaign manager, allegedly got a better pension by becoming Special Sheriff after DiPaola's demise. There's lots more stuff to go around.
Maybe Jack McGlynn the lobbyist would be a good candidate for a TV show on public access TV here in Medford. We'd LOVE to ask him a few questions and if his law office ever made substantial sums, or not, from his brother's 26 years as Mayor.
You want to vote for McGlynn? What are you, nuts?
