McGlynn masquerades as the "diversity" Mayor, but did NOTHING about a 10 year old complaint about gay-bashing at TV3, and then is seen in the press as dismissive of a racism case in Medford.

What has McGlynn done to protect residents from the hate spewing from the New England Baptist Church smack dab in the middle of Medford Square?

EXHIBIT A
Shameful McGlynn, with police reports dangling from his mouth (he holds on to them with his teeth before eating them!) and credible evidence that was noted at the Council of a tape of a board meeting, still keeps silent about the racism and homophobia McGlynn KNOWS happened at TV3; why would the City Solicitor call them "Equal Opportunity Slappers" and laugh in 2006?  Because City Hall knew!  Why would McGlynn and Rumley allegedly ask the autistic man who leveled a complaint to go back to TV3? Knowing about the infamous "G Spot" incident allegedly perpetrated by the alleged false bomb threat suspect!)

McGlynn said unless credible evidence of discrimination and harassment is found, the city will have to wait until TV3’s contract is up for renewal in August 2015 before taking more serious action.

EXHIBIT B

``It's not supposed to be a slight against the people of New Orleans,'' Deacon Brian Codi said of the sign at the church, which distributes fire-and-brimstone pamphlets, including one calling homosexuals ``21st century Sodomites.''

(Brian Codi, a known homophobe, was embraced by the soon-to-be-defunct Medford Community Cablevision, Inc., the station laughing about a gay bashing that the station manager witnessed! on or about Dec. 10, 2002)

Exhibit D
One day after Wade revealed the charges, Mayor Michael J. McGlynn asked Police Chief Leo A. Sacco to launch a full investigation into the matter.
If police find evidence of discrimination, it could serve as just cause for the city to terminate its 10-year contract with TV3. The contract is scheduled to expire in August 2015.

Agencies risk losing $841 million in federal funding

Team 5 Investigates has learned the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority are being forced to take action following a federal probe into how the agencies handle discrimination and civil rights complaints.

MBTA's Jonathan R. Davis is the BROTHER-in-LAW of fraud "Diversity Mayor" Michael J. McGlynn who recently was chastised by the City Council for throwing a victim under the bus.

But three transportation secretaries later, nothing HAS changed.
Records show 750 civil rights complaints have been filed against the state's transportation agencies in the last three years, including a class action claim that the MBTA's hiring practices have put women and Latinos at a disadvantage. Both agencies have also paid out $4 million in legal fees and settlements.

At one time, the Acting General Manager (is that like a Special Sheriff after DiPaola died?) Jonathan R. Davis - who is the "diversity" mayor's brother-in-law, married to Bernadette (McGlynn) Davis, Mike McGlynn's sister and who lives up on Governors Avenue, Medford

A Note about the Bullying Forum
...or "What's a bullying forum without noting that a bully was arrested for a "False bomb threat" after 20 years of harassing women, senior citizens and minority people in Medford?"

This was a poorly scripted event with speakers who went on and on and on. Some of the slide-show and adult speech appeared to go over the heads of the students. This looked like a bunch of adults posturing. The police GENEROUSLY gave of their time, Leo Sacco and about 3 more officers, and even they seemed perhaps taken aback. Why were there no victims of bullying? Why weren't speeches limited to 5 minutes each and - perhaps - some interaction with the students. It was all about the adults putting on a program that fell far short. What a shame. A good idea that was poorly presented.

a letter to Jeanne Martin:

Dear Ms. Martin:
We appreciate your help in removing the notorious TV3 and helping out with the MHA, but one citizen asked me - after reading your Yahoogroup posting - 'Is she drunk?"   I replied, "NO, sadly, she's imploding in public and making this election all about her."

Since you asked for my help in launching your campaign, taking liberally from a volunteer who never took a dime, not one nickel, not one red cent, even though you offered me more than double what a certain "webmaster" used to get, I have a right to note my disappointment publicly.

ANY candidate that I have helped I have helped at no charge. I hope you have noted in your campaign report an estimated value for any in-kind contribution.

WHEN CANDIDATES IMPLODE IN PUBLIC
Going off the rails, Part 1

P.S. Please note, readers, I have not taken one red cent, not a nickel, from any candidate that has received help from me.  Hopefully, each candidate out there getting help from anyone will ask the City Clerk if they have to file an "in-kind contribution" form.  Unlike a certain failed non-profit, I have volunteered my time for the greater good.  Having worked for free, it gives me the right to express my disappointment when candidates go off the rails in public.  Thank you.

This is a serious comment that cannot be shrugged off.  It comes from a volunteer who gave you time, energy and emotional support that you seem to have little or no respect for. What I'm disappointed in is that this alleged "parody" of yourself is not helpful in an election year.  It goes against all the rules we discussed at your home when you launched your campaign, when you said to me without my help launching it, you wouldn't even have considered running.  So you are running and - basically - being silly in public.  That's not something we need in a councilor.  All your hard work - that you did on your own - going to city council meetings and school committee meetings - is not seen in the correct light when you indulge in self-parody or true confessions or whatever it is your are doing.   Personally, I feel you took advantage of my time and efforts just so that you could get fifteen minutes of fame.  How does this differ from a "write-in candidate" not serious about making a run but just happy to get some ink?  In the future, please don't try to win votes by throwing people under the bus.  It isn't "respectful" and your "Respectfully" posted under comments becomes as shrill as McGlynn's notorious "leadership that works."  If you are going to blame those who have helped you for the criticisms and failures of your campaign, should every voter fear they will get caught up in your alleged "parody" of yourself?  That's not even a good excuse, Jeanne, your public rantings are getting to sound like a certain chair from the Democratic City & Ward Committee you seem to be trying to impress.
