Live from Candidates Night at Medford City Hall

FRANK CALL ASKS FRAUDULENT SOFTBALL QUESTION OF DUPLICITOUS PAUL CAMUSO ABOUT MAYOR'S PARKING GARAGE.  MORE FRAUD FROM MCGLYNN

After speaking at a board meeting in another community (at a real access TV station), this blog begins at 7:41.

Paul Camuso spouted his nonsense claiming things that seemed so false!  Look at Camuso's record and vote him out of office.

Keep in office Breanna Lungo-Koehn who gave a great speech about her education and being the only mom on the City Council.

Michael Marks and Rick Caraviello both gave good information, but as Lungo-Koehn pointed out, without access television in this city (which the city has never had for the past 15 or more years) these forums (and this editor believes the forum is skewed, wrongfully), there would be no information.

Dr. Wood puts his hand up in the air with his green flash card thingy, gee, interesting how Wood can be so well-behaved when he doesn't have to intentionally flip out on people.  Gee, isn't that interesting.  His wife, Carolyn Rosen, should learn how to pronounce CAR-A -VEE -ELLO
but what can you do, she's so full of herself she doesn't want a professional who doesn't mumble handling the event

Mr. Timekeeper are you ready, we are going to start with conflicted Frank Call to throw a softball to help the Mayor out with his garage.   "A unique opportunity for the city to move backwards and put more graft in elected official pockets" (of course we are reading Camuso's mind to put the truth out here instead of Camuso's lies)

Nick Iovino asks Rob Cappucci a question about revenues

Water pipes are cracking and leaking...MWRA charges a high sewage rate.

Good for Cappucci!

Bill Young asks incumbent Caraviello a softball question to protect the Mayor's conflict of interest.

Frank will be asking Mr. Crowley

Call: How would you revive

Crowley: Revitalization plan, when I first moved back to town it was one of the first things ...

7:49 Crowley pivots to Parking Garage and slams it and says to move to ENFORCEMENT OF PARKING.   "Better usage of distribution of parking."

Nick to Dello Russo: WARD REPRESENTATION

I don't.  I think people see it as a good idea, Frankly, all of the councilors represent the people of Medford (paraphrased).  Coming from a family...when  my uncle was an Alderman of South Medford when we did have Ward Representation...blah blah blah benefit all of Medford ...special interests like my going to Las Vegas (ok, the last part was added by the editor)

Conflicted Mr. Young asks Bob Fitzpatrick.  Why is a non-profit asking questions of the candidates?

Would you support Medford follow that lead?

Bob Fitzpatrick wants to raise the minimum wage (like, is a Medford councilor really going to have an effect on this?  Please!)

7:53 pm  Adam Knight, Frank Call

Parking sticker rates:  Another softball to a FOM - Friend of McGlynn

Understand this people?  Frank Call is the Mayor's boy talking to Adam Knight, the Mayor's boy, with a softball question the City and Fraud Committee throws out there to distract the public)

Breanna - Nick Iovino

A recent Boston Globe article noted the Medford Council highest paid in 19 communities North of Boston

Breanna: Phone calls, e mails, all the time, paperwork we have to read, opinions we have to go over, I was one of the few councilors that  voted NOT to get a raise, so it did put a stop to the raise.  Bad press for the Transcript lately, I think you are the gutsiest, though you've spoken negatively about me, I'm proud of what you are doing.

Councilor Marks - Bill Young

Charter Schools in the Commonwealth - what would be your position funding Charter Schools

Marks: I was on the school committee for 6 years; I believe Charter Schools create a competition. I would envision that someday we might have a charter school in our community.  The concept of charter schools, I think it works, it adds to the competition that's healthy out there. I would support it.

Young; HOw would you ensure the fiscal strain not be put on...

I comment "More honest than this dog and pony show."  People around me shake their heads in agreement.
