Re: Massachusetts Public Records Request

Dear Louise Miller or Keeper of the Records:

This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:

1)The document(s) containing the salary of
Detective/Officer Stephen LeBert of the
Medford Police Department for the years
2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015

I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request. If you expect costs to exceed $10.00, please provide a detailed fee estimate. If you would like me to inspect the records at your office to keep the costs down, please let me know.

The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 calendar days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.

Sincerely,

the Editor

God lawyers will say anything won't they.

Props to Medford for having a public hearing. (Oh, PLEASE, Thomas, the Chief - Sacco - should have fired Lebert on 7/27! - the editor)

So will Union presidents apparantly.(sic)

So....when do LeBerts fellow officers realize he endangers their lives.
When do they understand the incredible contempt and distrust this officers behavior brings upon them.
When do they have the pride to say"I won't work with this scumbag"-sorry for the cop jargon but enough already.
