5 Investigates previously obtained Lebert's personnel file and discovered 18 entries, most of which sparked full-blown Internal Affairs investigations.
Lebert has been suspended four times in his 30-year career, including in 1986 when he fled the police station after another officer fired shots inside the station. (LeBert is a coward and a bully - editorial note)
Other suspensions came after he missed court cases and failed to attend in-service training

The police and the Mayor are FINALLY addressing the unprofessional conduct of 7/2/12 ONLY after July 26, 2015's hideous Dashcam video was posted on YouTube.
This is "Quality policing through community involvement" - however, Mayor McGlynn allegedly has put his slimy fingers into these matters.
LeBert was reported to the chief of police in 2009 by this news organization for allegedly phoning Gary Zappelli of TV3, the twice arrested individual who was causing so much disruption at MCC TV3, including but not limited to incessant attacks on Stephanie Muccini-Burke.
The police did nothing that the public is aware of, that
thin blue wall - or is it a thick-headed blue wall.

That constant smile is very unsettling. This officer has some severely violent tendencies, Only other time I've seen that look is in the face of Afghans right before and after an attack. This officer will commit some extra judicial actions in future.

Had the Mayor and the police acted on the 2009
complaint that I filed on Stephen LeBert, perhaps
the events of July 2, 2012 and July 26, 2015 would not
have happened.
A lack of policing by ignoring community involvement is more like it.
Had the police acted when this journalist, listed as the sole victim in a police report of April 26, 2010, dragged three members of Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. in to the police station for "mediation" - and had they arrested the three perpetrators and dragged in Arthur Alan Deluca as well, perhaps the arrests of Mr. Zappelli on September 4, 2013 and July 8, 2014 would never have happened HAD THE POLICE DONE THEIR JOB AND IGNORED THE ALLEGED INTERFERENCE BY DACM (Drunk Allegedly CRIMINAL Mastermind) MAYOR MIKE MCGLYNN
OF COURSE, when Tony Soprano allegedly issues orders to the police chief and the chief acts like Barney Fife rather than someone who wants to ensure PUBLIC SAFETY, then there will be problems like these:

McGlynn, the bogus lame-duck Mayor of Medford is having the October 15th "hearing" at 10 AM on the same day as the October 15th Chevalier Auditorium debate between the Mayoral candidates.
In the news business that is called a DISTRACTION
of Major Proportions when LeBert should have been
booted on July 27th.
In Somerville they don't have the Curtatone School and in Woburn they don't have the Mayor Galvin School so when a jackass like Michael J. McGlynn has a McGlynn School what the hell do you expect?
Stephen LeBert was a McGlynn tool until the moment that LeBert got caught being a thug on camera. So now McGlynn will throw LeBert under the bus as he has done with Muccini-Burke and Mark Rumley and Frank Pilleri.
It's the McGlynn Way.
But what does Mr. Pilleri have on McGlynn, allegedly,
that 14 months have elapsed and Mark Dumley still
can't seem to find those MCC TV3 financial records
or meeting minutes.
Thank God for this magazine, Medford, because we are
keeping the pressure on the AG's office to bring Pilleri and his filthy gang to justice. And that will lead straight back to
DACM McGlynn, the Disturbed Allegedly Criminal Mastermind of Medford.
