What seemed like otherwise harmless request made by a board member of TV3 sparked a war of words between city officials and one resident at last night’s City Council meeting.
Ron Delucia, of TV3, invited all members of the council to a candidate’s night, which would be held in the coming weeks leading up to the Nov. 3 election. Delucia said he hoped all councilors, as well as challengers in the municipal election, would participate in the event.
He added the event, which has not yet been scheduled, would be run on the station several times leading up to Election Day.
Delucia concluded his comments with a series of statistics indicating the favorable staffing at the 5 High St. station and rise of usage among Medford citizens. He left the podium without incident and did not speak for the rest of the night.
Resident Joe Viglione, who has been involved in several lawsuits against TV3 in the past, was quick to take Delucia’s place at the podium and refute the claims that had just been made. Viglione said if Delucia had used hard numbers rather than generic percentages, the results would not be as favorable to the station.
“It’s disingenuous, and I don’t like that,” Viglione said of Delucia’s comments.
Viglione then questioned Mayor Michael McGlynn, demanding answers regarding a spring audit of TV3 and report released last month by retired district court judge Marie Jackson Thompson, wherein the embattled station’s board members were accused of poor financial record keeping and limiting freedom of speech in the city.
McGlynn has yet to comment on the outcome of meetings with TV3 President Frank Pilleri, which took place shortly after the report was issued.
Viglione said he is considering filing a class action suit against the city in order to get the information he seeks.

ALLEGED ELDER ABUSER, ARTHUR ALAN DELUCA, WHO WAS VISITED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ELDER AFFAIRS. DELUCA WAS ACCUSED BY A WITNESS OF YELLING AND SCREAMING AT HIS MOTHER, WHO IS NOW OVER 90 YEARS OLD, AND USING THE 'F' WORD AGAINST HIS OWN MOTHER WHILE A WITNESS HEARD IT OVER THE TELEPHONE.
HE WAS THE ARBITER OF TASTE TELLING YOU THAT you DON'T REALLY NEED ACCESS, WHILE HE USES IT AND SPITS IN YOUR FACE. THAT IS WHO BEN BROWN WANTS AROUND, SOMEONE THAT SCARES THE HELL OUT OF MEDFORD RESIDENTS AND MAKES THEM NOT WANT TO GO TO THE STATION.
THE BASTARD WHO GOES UNDER THE ALIAS OF 'DR RABIES' WENT AFTER OTHER FAMILIES AS WELL TARGETING SENIORS --- HE DRAGGED A SENIOR CITIZEN INTO CRIMINAL COURT ON FALSE CHARGES, FUNDED BY MEDFORD COMMUNITY CABLEVISION MONIES. I BELIEVE FIRMLY THAT THAT COURT CASE LED TO THE DEATH OF THE OLD MAN OF PUBLIC ACCESS IN MEDFORD.
THAT'S WHO BEN BROWN PUTS ON THE AIR.
LET'S BRING THE FACTS BACK INTO A COURT OF LAW AND WATCH DELUCA CRINGE AS HIS WRONGFUL CONDUCT IS PUT OUT TO THE WORLD
DELUCA WENT AFTER MULTIPLE MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY AS WELL, WHICH LED TO THE COMPLAINT WITH ELDER AFFAIRS, POSSIBLY SAVING HIS MOTHER FROM MORE VERBAL AND POSSIBLY ALLEGEDLY the possibility that the verbal abuse would escalate to PHYSICAL ABUSE. Possibly and allegedly
the sick bastard Arthur Deluca has also committed tortious interference and hijacking a registered business in the city of Medford. That will be dealt with in a court case coming soon.
