When Lt. Paul Covino is part of a phony criminal suit against a journalist filed by disgraced City Council President Richard F. Caraviello (Caraviello and the police lost the fraudulent case on January 31, 2017) parents of Medford children need to demand accountability and the removal of Mayor Burke, outgoing Police Chief Sacco and outgoing superintendent Roy E. Belson.
They can't leave these positions soon enough.

“Ten years ago we wouldn’t even be here,” said MPD Spokesman Lt. Paul Covino, while keeping an eye on the school’s entrance.
Covino said since the upsurge in school gun violence that started with the Columbine High School shooting in 1999, any threats are taken very seriously.
Officials said this was considered a low-level threat because the individual who called in the bomb scare did not mention a motive, time or specific location for the proposed attack.
A public records request regarding bomb sniffing dogs and the alleged sex crime that disappeared was filed early December 2015 resulted in retaliation from the police and the city council president that same week. The journalist was dragged into court on false charges, the way the city combats residents who ask the right questions that Burke/Sacco/Covino/Belson refuse to answer.
They are supposed to serve the public. These charlatans serve themselves.
"You get the police service (that) you deserve" Chief Sacco threatened this writer on 10/17/17 after I reported to the City Council (on access TV) that Sacco's son had his gun, keys and truck removed for allegations of drunk driving, and a "relative" (gee, who would that be?) driving the chief's son home. Gee.
Sacco's threat to this journalist happened the day after Mayor Muccini-Burke slammed her gavel on 10/16/17 when I was scheduled to speak at the school committee. My prior speech got a TON of applause from the teachers which made Burke cringe. This time she just illegally shut me down.
The day before at 10:30 am at the high school state Rep Paul Donato put his hand into the private parts of then-council v.p. Michael Marks in front of two small children and a student running the camera. This, of course, when an employee of Medford High, Jenna Tarabelsi, was convicted of rape on Friday the 13th, October 2017. From Friday to Tuesday in October obvious malfeasance at Medford City Hall and Medford High.
Your kids are not safe with these creeps in power.

Sacco, Jr. if for nothing else but the alleged cover up of the varsity coach scandal and the facts regarding his son's little escapade driving January 2017 and the chief's failure to stop Stephen Lebert's rampage in its tracks, before it even happened.
