Mrs. Burke failed to properly handle the situation and possibly endangered other children by ignoring the situation..
While Mark Rumley has his bizarre "CORI CHECK" for public access TV, the high school has had a reputation for
teachers engaging in inappropriate behavior with students.
Since the law reads that you cannot have "unsupervised contact"with children, and other TV stations at high schools know this
and trust their station managers, clearly Mark Rumley doesn't trust Pat Gordon as Rumley changed his tune
and now says "the possibility of unsupervised contact with children."
Yes, we should be worried about former individuals from TV3 being at the TV station, but that also falls on Rumley as
he failed to make good on his promise for an election in 2009 for a new board of directors. One of the ex board members
was arrested for an alleged sleepover with a 16 year old resulting in an arrest for allegedly giving the young teen 3 beers.
There is a horrible rumor about a current member of Medford Community Media and an allegation that he told a Medford
person that he lusted for a young girl in a wheelchair. Yet that public nuisance is at the TV station, despite the CORI check.

to safety in Medford, especially at the access TV station.
Just
because Mr. Rumley sat on a board that was always engaging in
inappropriate behavior, be it financially or with lewd sexual comments,
doesn't mean Rumley should project his own low self image on the community.
Rumley
took it upon himself to investigate the very board he sat on. He then
failed to make good on the investigation, I believe intentionally.
Rumley's
perspective on Thatcher Magoun and the library I believe is flawed.
Rumley hasn't done ANYTHING to facilitate free speech.
Indeed, Mark Rumley squelches free speech with impunity, and then lied about it to a retired judge in Alden Chambers.

When city government, Stephanie Burke and Mark Rumley, intentionally engage in cover-ups (see my public records requests for proof of that)
we have a problem, candidate Lungo- Koehn .
Please hold Burke and Rumley accountable.

The mother, who was not identified, was sent to a hospital in critical condition. She was later upgraded to stable condition, according to WHBQ in Memphis.
"The juvenile believed it was a
toy gun,” Millington police chief Mark Dunbar told reporters. “He picked
the gun up, pulled the trigger and accidentally shot his mother. It was
an accident, pure and simple.”
Gun owner charged
Police identified the owner of the gun as 76-year-old Charles McFarland. According to Good Morning America, McFarland has been charged with reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, and no bond has been set as of yet.
The game was canceled and the stadium was evacuated as it became an active crime scene.
The University of Memphis released a statement on the shooting:
“We are saddened by
the unfortunate accidental shooting at the baseball game at USA Stadium
in Millington,” the statement reads. “The University of Memphis is
cooperating fully with authorities in the investigation. Our deepest
thoughts are with the family.”
