Re: Massachusetts Public Records Request

Dear Rep Donato, Rep Garballey, Rep Barber, Rep Deleo, Medford City Hall

This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting from Rep Garballey, Rep Barber, Rep Donato, Rep Deleo, and Medford City Hall that I be provided a copy of the following records:

1)Any documents regarding an alleged bill filed by any state rep, possibly Paul J. Donato, on behalf of Michael J. McGlynn or Stephanie Muccini-Burke or any other individual - an alleged Home Rule Petition - designed to bypass the Medford City Council and the people of Medford to deny Mayor elect Breanna Lungo-Koehn the ability to hire or fire Medford Massachusetts city government department heads.

2)Any bill, or other documents - texts, notes, e mails, voice mails, regarding a Home Rule Petition concerning department heads in the city of Medford

I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request, however, as publisher of a highly popular Medford news site with 1,481,189 page-views at 11:57 pm on Monday Dec. 10, 2019, I ask that you waive any fee as this is a matter of great public interest.

The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 business days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.
Sincerely,

Joe Viglione
