Update on Home Rule Petition. I called the State House 617 722 2000 at 10:15 - 10:20 am The woman said that the Secretary of State's office would have the "archives." That's for public records requests. I asked about pending bills, you have to (of course) contact the Rep. Kevin Shea is the Chief-of-Staff - Kevin has known me since the 1970s, I believe he owned a record store. Rep Donato has known me since 1973 as he was a manufacturer's rep and would visit us at 183 Park St., my family's business. We had a warehouse* on Park Street which is, of course, now condos. So Kevin knows me well, he has my phone #. Jean in Donato's office (never met her prior to this phone call) took the message...and the game is afoot.

*My dad lived on Park Street in the 40's or 50's at my uncle's house. I remember visiting my aunt and uncle way back when, just coincidental that we had a warehouse 5 doors down from where dad used to live in Medford. Blurry images of my relatives on both sides when I was very young, wish they lived longer.
