John Byers noted to me on the telephone that Mr. Camuso walked
away from a vote a couple of weeks ago. I believe it was the Casino
vote, and Mr. Camuso was hardly forward thinking, he didn't want the
public paying him $27,000.00 a year to know where he stood on a critical
vote. That's not why he is paid. He is paid to work for the citizens,
not run away so he's not caught on camera making a vote yes or no. He
refused to take a vote and when his uncle-by-marriage, Council President
Maiocco called him back Camuso, right in front of me, said "I'm not
behind the rail." Shameful, absolutely shameful and NOT why he is paid
27K a year to show up fewer times than any other councilor between 2011
and 2013.
