No one from the Mercury, no one from Inside Medford, no one from the Patch, no public access reporters (considered legitimate journalists by the courts, Demarest vs. Athol/Orange was the Federal case)

"We took the Medford Transcript, a member of the Chamber and a union representative for the city council forum, all 3 of which represents a cross section of the city as a different group and we chose a parent involved in the PTO for the School Committee forum.

As one candidate said to me, it's a moot point having a School Committee forum as no one is running against the incumbents.
But what union representative? From what union? And how does a union person represent 56,000 residents of our city.
Oh, and guess who the "chair" of Ward 2 is on the committee having this forum. You guessed it:
Ward 2 Mayor Michael McGlynn

Now I ask you, residents, is it fair to us to have a 26 year incumbent as a member of a committee throwing the forum? It's so cozy, oh so cozy.
Warm Regards,
The Leader of the Opposition
