Had a music event to go to this evening but got sidetracked.
So I'm at this meeting place while the council is still in session and these people say to me "Good job. We saw you on TV. That strange councilor got up and left while you were speaking again. What is it you call him?"
My reply, of course, "Madame Knight."
You have over a dozen people laughing at Knight, not with him.
"Madame Knight, the biggest whore in Medford."
They burst out laughing again. So, having the momentum, we just poured it on.
"Saddam Knight. Adam Hussein."
The laughter came to a roar.
They wanted more funnies so your editor brought up the Johnny Carson alleged episode with Zsa Zsa Gabor. (Read it off of my iPhone as I thought it was with Raquel Welch)
Zsa Zsa Gabor was a frequent visitor to Carson's couch. As the tale has
it, she once came on carrying a cat, which she held in her lap. She is
said to have asked Carson, "Would you like to pet my pussy?" His fabled
reply: "I'd love to...
Almost got as many laughs as the Madame Knight jokes, they were roaring, so I finished my tea and went out the door...
