Alex Ruppenthal's article on Charter Change lacking in substance*

*former mayoral candidate John Byers prefers the term "Charter Change" preferable to Charter Review   http://medford.wickedlocal.com/article/20160223/NEWS/160228739

The sparring councilors were then scolded by newly elected Councilor George Scarpelli, who called the heated argument “a shame.”

Scarpelli, defendant in a case filed by a falsely accused man when a violent rape-with-a broomstick happened while Scarpelli was supposed to be chaperoning, made a complete jackass out of himself, yelling and screaming with the best of them after saying he wants things calm.  HA HA. Hypocrite.

MADAME KNIGHT DISAGREED!!!

Knight, meanwhile, disagreed.
“The process is slow because there’s no community support to gather the signatures,” he said. “If they could gather the signatures, it’d be on the ballot.”

“I didn’t think I was going to live long enough to see this,” resident Henry Milorin said at the Feb. 16 council meeting. “This is your chance to do something real for the city. Don’t be afraid of the word ‘change.’ We need change.”

COUNCILOR MADAME KNIGHT, OUT OF STEP WITH THE PROCESS, INCOMPETENT, BUNGLING AND JUST PLAIN BAD FOR MEDFORD.
