Letter to Nick Iovino of the Medford Transcript

This was sent to two of Nick Iovino's bosses ABOVE Nell Escobar Coakley.

Dear Mr. Iovino,

It would be refreshing if you could ask follow-up questions to the rants by Pilleri (where's the money) and Deluca (why did you scare board members and residents away).  We know Mike McGlynn doesn't want you asking those questions, but your style of writing is unfair to the voters and residents of Medford.

Arthur Deluca is getting more ink time in the Transcript than the real
candidate, Anthony D'Antonio, and why is that?  (The Mayor wants it
that way, of course, and the Transcript obliges him!)

No one wants to go to an access TV station that has one of its long-time members and public faces in court on a serious felony charge.  Why does this newspaper give Mr. Deluca so much freedom to spew utter nonsense? Look at the access facilities in other cities and towns.

“It looks like nobody really cares about access anymore,” said DeLuca. “We didn’t have people clamoring to join. Instead of trying to stay open and going into debt, we said, ‘Let’s close the corporation, and we won’t kill access.’”
