Dear Mark Rumley,

I am offering my services to be on the Mayor's access TV panel.

As the Mayor is putting together a 3 person panel to repair access TV, TV that was broken due to Mr. McGlynn's failure to lead, you know that we need COMMUNITY PEOPLE that
care about access tv, not more Frank Pilleri types.  The Mayor chose Pilleri previously; he chose wrong. That was not leadership.

They say sugar works better than vinegar, but sometimes vinegar is what is needed when a politician made a serious mistake, as Michael McGlynn did in regards to access TV.

A man with courage would apologize to the community for failing to lead.  It's an election year, Michael J. McGlynn needs to show the world he is human and that he wants to be forgiven
for failing to address this situation in a timely and effective manner.

This community needs a representative on this panel who has the insight, wisdom, passion for access that was lacking at TV3.   If McGlynn chooses the wrong people, we will be right back where we started and that won't be fair to the cable tv subscribers.

I will vigorously fight for the people of this community over the Issuing Authority's past errors in judgment.  We can put Comcast Channel 3 back on the air immediately, next week, by moving the equipment to 5 High Street.  If the Mayor ignores this idea, then he is playing politics and wants Jack Dempsey, his video right hand man, to control the candidates.  That would not be fair.  Having Jack Dempsey videotape candidates was
expected, though it is far from optimal.  My idea is logical and gets the ball rolling immediately.

An honest Mayor will accept my plan; a Mayor that is not honest will try to control access.

I am offering my services to be on this panel.  If Mr. Michael J. McGlynn wants to snub my hard work and honest efforts -as he has in the past - I will consider court action to be on such
a panel.  What is fair is fair.   I have fought this fight for the entire community, something you, Solicitor Rumley, acknowledged to me in your office years ago.

It's an election year.  Let's see Michael McGlynn be honest and do the right thing in regards to this panel.   McGlynn has not treated me with the respect that I deserve as a human being
through this ordeal.   Mr. McGlynn had the opportunity to keep this citizen safe from those individuals at the now-defunct TV3; he chose not to.

This is Michael J. McGlynn's opportunity to extend the olive branch.  TV3 infected other areas in my life.  The city needs to recognize the hard work and honest efforts this citizen
put into correcting the public access situation in Medford.   Mr. McGlynn should speak at the City Council this Tuesday and congratulate those of us who put our own personal
safety at risk to do the right thing for our community.

Sincerely,

Joe Viglione
